Camden Legacy Creek

I have lived here for almost 2 years and the pest (specifically cockroach) problem is unacceptable. My apartment has been treated 3 times and within this time (included a deep treatment where we left the apartment) and yesterday, as the pest control guy came to treat it for a 4^th time, there was a big cockroach in front of my door. I have a baby now and I am needing to move out because I cannot have him under these living conditions (one of the cockroaches I found was on the wall right above his crib). To top off, the apartments are not willing to work with me on breaking my contract due to this issue and I am going to be charged for 2 months (you have to give 60 day notice) plus an extra month of rent.
This is the biggest issue, specially since you pay a monthly fee and these are extreme circumstances that I should not be forced to live under because of a contract. I have gone to the office and tried to talk to management but they completely dismissed our situation. This is very disappointing and I hope to let other people know, in whatever means I can, of this situation before they get into a less than optimal living situation.

As an update we were charged $ 75 because they claimed my dog urinated in the apartment. My dog, was a 15 year old dog that needless to say was potty trained. They claimed there was a smell but there were much other issues (mold, wet spots in ceilings that could cause those smells). Also, this charge was on top of the mandatory $ 70 cleaning charge.

I’ve lived in the Camden Legacy Creek community for almost a year now and have had no complaints. The complex itself is very quiet, as are the actual apartment units. I hardly ever hear any of my neighbors, so noise has never been a complaint. The apartments are well maintained, the staff is friendly, and any requests are quickly responded to. I also love that every apartment has its own individual attached garage. There is always plenty of parking left over for guests. I would not hesitate to recommend this community.
