If this is the same Climax Industries that makes cooler bags, then I am deeply inclined to write a review for this company and it’s products. Why this product isn’t available in your average consumer market(Amazon, Overstock), I am not quite sure. If Yeti made bags, this would be the result. I got my hands on a Climax Cooler bag a few years ago as a birthday gift. The bag is able to carry a good six pack of bottles or eight cans of your standard 12 oz variety, plus ice for either. This thing isn’t only durable, but sturdy as well. My curiosity of who could make a cooler bag that’s fine quality and works unbelievably well began to overwhelm me. I wanted another so I had to find out who made it and how to get one. Turns out, it’s a Dallas based company who makes thermo-bags for Pizza Hut’s pizza transportation for delivering the pizzas hot and fresh, along with some other well-known catering companies that use them for food transport. This was very interesting to me. I wouldn’t have thought this was a big commercial distributor. Did some digging, you really can’t make a purchase of just one of these things; they make these for wholesale, ten or more orders direct from their sales department. These are awesome bags and I wish more people knew about them. Seems like there is a big market for this type of product: tailgating, hunting, fishing, camping, sporting, work or school(commuting/lunch), and general, personal, leisure activities that a uniquely branded or embroidered thermally insulated, freezer bag could be found, preferably, wanting. Company Pros: Website easy to navigate. Multiple sizes, multiple colors/designs to choose from. Custom branding/embroidering. State-of-the-art materials. Commercial credibility, good reputation of quality. Bag-centric focus. Product Pros: Stitched tags on products, one Climax company logo tag, and another Made in the USA tag. THICK insulation, at least two and a half times thinker than your standard Igloo lunch bag. Thick and durable outside lining material. My bag is not leak proof(easily combated by using frozen-solid water bottles), but they do make leak proof bags. Company Cons: Prices not listed on website. Minimum order of ten of one type of product. Not found in any online consumer market. Product Cons: This may be more of a company con, but it’s still worth noting: Leak-proof should come as a standard for all freezer bags. Other than that suggestion, the product is possibly the best in the insulated bag manufacturing world. Little room for improvement besides hooking up a can of NO2 on the inside of every bag. Igloo seems to be the main competitor with a larger online market. However, quality, in my mind, is definitely not as good as what’s found in Climax bags.
