I pick up prescriptions once or twice a month from this location. Staff at the drive through window are very friendly and pleasant. Service is quick and they go out of their way to provide help needed.

I like CVS’s. I can go into any of them and know where anything is. The stores are laid out pretty similar. THANKGOODNESS! Run in, run out… Bam. That’s what I’m talking about!

In a nutshell: I’ve had to take my prescriptions to another pharmacy four times because they’ve been out of common medications and their customer service leaves much to be desired. We were so excited when this store opened last summer. This part of West Plano(east of the Tollway, but not all the way to Preston) desperately needed a drive-thru pharmacy. With two small kids, it is so much easier to not have to unload them from the car(and if we’re filling a prescription, chances are that one of them is sick) and shuffle inside. As I said above, on four separate instances they have been unable to fill our prescriptions. They were all for common children’s medications, nothing obscure. I completely understand that this will happen occasionally, but four times is slightly ridiculous. What really is irritating, however, is how they handle this. Each time, I have driven home, unloaded the kids, and then received a phone call that they don’t have what I need. So that means I have to load everyone back up, drive to CVS to pick up the prescriptions, and then take them somewhere else and start all over. In contrast, when this happened once at Super Target across the street, I received a phone call from the actual pharmacist who was so apologetic and told me that she had called around, found the medicine at another pharmacy, and asked if it was OK that she transferred the prescription there. No problem! Yesterday was the last straw with CVS. After receiving the call that they were out of my daughter’s prescription, I asked if they could simply transfer the prescription to another CVS. The woman replied that if I knew for sure that the other CVS had the drug in stock, that she could fax it over. I asked why it couldn’t be done through the computer(as CVSs share a computer system, it should be very easy, right?!) and she replied that since they didn’t have the drug at their store, they didn’t want to enter it into the computer. What?! So my four year old with a 103 fever, my tired baby, and I drove the prescription over to Target, where they took pitty on us and filled it within 10 minutes. Unless you want unneccesary aggravation, go somewhere else!

A very clean and polished CVS — of course it is because it recently opened! But anywho it’s in a great location because it’s kind of off on it’s own. It’s not where the Walmart and other stores are, but literally the next block over, by it’s lonesome self :) It’s a good sized location, but there’s no Redbox andit’s not a 24hr pharmacy. They do have everything other CVS stores have so I can’t complain. I was actually looking for these specific toothpicks and they had them, so of course they get 5 stars! ps.I also noticed a sign for Flu shots, no appointment needed! Oh, and the people at the cashier are very friendly too~ I like good service with a smile :)
