I contacted this company yesterday, June 2, 2014 for a plugged condensate drain line. They came out and cleared the line going to the outside and partially cleared the line that drains into my sewer. They didn’t have a bucket to catch the water so I gave them one but water spilled onto my attic floor and down the sidewall onto the sheetrock ceiling downstairs and on some antiques I had in the attic which I did my best to clean up after they left. They also partially crushed one of the ducts supplying air to a lower room when they cleared the outside line because the assistant is a very large man who wasn’t very limber. When they blew the line to the outside the downspout blew off and water has been steadily dripping on the top frame of my bedroom window as well as the window itself and sill. I called them a couple hours after they left to notify and was told someone would be by today at 10 am. It’s 12 pm and no one has shown up or called so I called Jacob to let him know and also to let him know that the overflow drain is dripping every time the a/c is on which isn’t supposed to happen and probably means I have a blockage with the primary drain line. When they came yesterday, Jacob had a difficult time stepping into the attic because he’s elderly so I gave them a 2′ stepladder. He had a «plumber» assistant who seemed to be in training. I stood by watching them do the repairs because I just wasn’t comfortable. Their company name wasn’t even on the van and I believe in order to do business that’s required. Jacob informed me I needed to call a plumber… so I called my plumber of 18 yrs and he seemed surprised they didn’t offer to come back and take another look. Besides, his assistant is a plumber. The work was completed during normal working hours however the charge was excessive and comparable to the overtime charge I paid last year for the same problem. I wanted to pay by credit card and he hesitated and said he didn’t have it with him but could write down the number. I said I wanted to call the office to give it to them directly and asked him for the number. He couldn’t remember what it was but called on his cell and handed it to me. A woman was on the line who sounded like she was 95 yrs old. Another red flag. I didn’t want my credit info laying around so went to get my checkbook to write a check. I just called to stop pay the check and it was cashed at an affiliate bank so will see whether the bank can do anything
