I had a flat tire and discount tire fixed/​plugged it for free since it was my first visit to discount tire. In 5 hrs tire pressure sensor in car turned on again. Pressure was low in the newly repaired tire. I thought newly repaired tire was not plugged properly and it leaked. I went to discount tire again, this time they said tire is fine but wheel has corrosion and that is causing the leak. They also told me that the wheel model that I am using is not sold anymore so my options were to replace one wheel (approx 100 $) which looks different from rest three or replace all four wheels (approx 500 $).
I went to another tire shop and they showed me that tire had the leak, this time from the side wall and they also told me that wheel is fine and in perfect condition.
I never expected that such a reputed company will try to fool me for some extra bucks. Shame on them.
Beware, always check with other repair shop if someone is suggesting a costly repair.

I knew Saturdays would be busy so I arrived 20−30min prior to opening and smiled when I found five or six people had already beaten me to the line. Immediately before opening an employee came out to greet us and let us know they’ll take us in the order we’d lined up and get us assisted as soon as possible. They did just that. Each employee came out and paired up with those of us in line and walked us to a computer.
The gentlemen who helped me pulled up my info (we’d been before), took my key and pointed out the complimentary coffee and water bottles in their waiting area.
I was impressed that they clearly anticipated the large crowd for a Saturday and had someone manning each computer to handle walk-​ins as well as plenty of people working on cars. It was by far the quickest tire rotation I’ve had. Don’t get me wrong, you should bring your phone or magazine to keep you occupied, but the wait wasn’t excruciating.
My family has been Discount Tire customers for over 30 years and this is exactly why.

I made an online appointment. My tire had gotten a flat and my coworkers recommended Discount. Although the location was very busy when I arrived I was greeted when I entered and the total time to repair my tire for FREE was less than 45 minutes. Everyone was professional and kind. I will be coming back to this location when I need new tires no doubt about it!

Not helpful at all. Every Time they come up with different reason to don’t let you use your guarantee and make you to perches new tires. They are not even willing to price match the price with other store. And the Spanish speaker sale mans, I haven’t seen someone as rode as them. Looks like they are willing to hit you in the face. Never gonna come back.

This is the only place I have been where they put your spare tire, jack, and all accessories back in the trunk where they belong… I was shocked… If you are in the area and need new tires or just service, I recommend this business and location.

This location seems to be busy every time I pass by, however this was the closest location that had the specific tires I was needing to get. So since I had a blow out the day before I was in a time crunch and had to visit here.
I was blown away with the professionalism, the respectfulness as well as the attentiveness from all the associates. I was able to get in and although there was an hour wait until I would be done I was able to get some work done while there and was out within the hour. The time allotted seemed appropriate with the volume that was taking place. I arrived at 9am without an appointment and was extremely satisfied. I was referred to this location from the McKinney location which is the location I typically visit and am thankful for everyones help. I will be back to this location when I need my air pressure checked!

Flat tire. Drove up at 451pm. They closed at 5pm. Excellent customer service. Thought I had warranty cert. I didnt. Owner gave me a great deal. Paid extremely less out of pocket than I thought I would and was given a warranty on my other tires. I will be coming back to this location. I’ve gone other places and have been told to come back because they were about to close. Lanny the owner as well as the rest of the staff get a big kudos for being awesome. Little things mean a lot!

Just stopped by to have tire pressure checked since stupid light was on and won’t go off. They reset the system and I was on my way within 10-​mins.

I’ve been going to this store since it opened and they disappointed me today. I own a landscape business so I own several trailers. I took a flat tire in and the salesman said they couldn’t install tires without seeing the trailer to check that it can hold the weight. He must think he’s qualified to rate capacity of a trailer because he’s the tire salesman. I have never been asked this in 20+YEARS of shopping at Discount tire. I went to another location and they sold me a tire

Told me they would price match what SAMs was offering me, so I left SAMs and went by there, but once I showed them what I was getting they told me they couldn’t match it but instead tried to up sell me, not once but twice. Lost a long time customer over this crap. Went back to SAMs, after wasting my time with them.

I’ve been to this store for at least 4 sets of tires in the past few years, and they always go out of their way to provide some pretty great customer service. A few weeks ago I bought a set of tires an one had a flat the next day because of construction on 75 (again!!!)… They not only ordered a new tire, but put me on a loaner tire until the new one arrived, and it was a no hassle process — the loaner was at a different store and I drove there for the swap pretty much no questions asked. These guys rock!

Groundhog Day and I’m in trouble.
Need my tires checked on the double.
Light on dash says there is need.
I hope to be out at lightning speed.
They check the pressure and add some air. LOOK! there is a nail in there!
They’ll pull the nail and patch for free, and oh how happy I will be.
In less than an hour this can be done.
Look at the time, I have to run!
My peace of mind has been restored.
As a future client I am on board.

Just one word, horrible. When I wait 2 hours for a simple flat repair, tire swap, and balance; you should probably make sure you didn’t mess up. Not only is my tread ruined, so is my balance. They damaged an entire package of lug nuts I bought because they ignorantly bolted them on all 4 tires. I spent over a 100 bucks and 2 hours only to get home and have my boy friend and his father have to completely do everything all over again. When we went back, Lanny, the store manager, laughed and told us that all he could do was refund our 40 bucks for the 2^nd package of lug nuts we had to buy from them. Even though everything else we paid for was completely discarded the second we drove off because they have ignorant employees. Lol. Don’t expect to be treated with respect.

Terrible customer service! Made an appointment for a tire rotation at 3:30, arrived more then 15 minutes early as they suggest only to wait in line for 20 minutes. Finally 3:45 and I’m told it’s going to be 45 min. to an hour wait. Wtf! Why bother even making the appointment. Discount Tire = discount customer service! i

I love the Discount Tires business model. And this is my favorite location — great staff, honest guys and quick service.
I highly recommend getting there early in the morning so you can get in and out. They are popular, so the wait can be pretty long.

I came in to rotate my tires and left with two new ones! They were great at getting me quick service and explaining to me why they needed to replace my tread-​bare tires. I don’t know much about tires so there’s no way for me to say they weren’t pulling my leg, but since they refused to rotate my tires for safety reasons… I believed them :)
They checked my tire pressure in the other two tires and also my spare which was awesome. They were super fast and efficient! Can’t complain because now I can get free air checks and tire rotations for the life of my tires!

Travis is the guy to see. This was the only place I have gone to that has shown any type of respect and knowledge about tires. I really appreciate the guys here! If you are unsure and worried about asking questions, don’t be you will be taken care of!

Love this place. I woke up and my tire was flat. I brought it in here and they found a nail in my tire and helped me patch it for free.
Service was not too bad. It took about 45 minutes; so i went to my gym and it was finished! It was really busy that day.
It also helps if you book online. You get in faster.

Excellent, friendly, and prompt service. I’ve never had any issues here. You really can’t beat free tire rotations for life.
The key to not waiting is to make an appointment online — that way, your car gets serviced when you set your appointment and you don’t have to wait in the queue. I usually drop my car off and either walk across the street to Walmart to run errands or head over to Ranch 99 to get a snack. 45 minutes to one hour later, done. Tires rotated, errands completed, stomach full. Can’t beat that. =)

I’ve gone to these guys on several occasions and they do a great job. There are some discount tire locations that will promise you one thing and give you another, but these guys deliver what they promise. I needed a tire replaced and was making a trip out to see a customer for an hour. I brought in a flat tire, dropped it off as I went to run my errand, then when I came back in an hour, the new tire had been mounted and was ready for me to pick up. Perfect! No down time, no fuss, no problem. I have always gone to Discount Tire for my tire needs and will continue to go to them.
If you’re strapped for cash, see if they have a used tired that might fit your budget.

I’ve reviewed other Discount Tire locations, and while some are newer and bigger than this location, I’ve never received anything but exemplary service at any of them. This was my first visit to this particular location in a couple of years; I picked this one because it had the shortest wait time of several others within easy reach. My issue was that I had apparently run through a nice collection of screws, and I had multiples in at least two tires. The good folks took all of the wheels off, removed the (what turned out to be very short) screws and performed a leak test on all four — shockingly, no leaks (!). They put them all back on and pronounced me good to go for the low, low price of — zero!
There are few businesses that I would even consider saying that I’m a customer of «for life», but Discount Tire has never done me wrong (and there have been countless incidents like the above) in almost 20 years of dealing with them, so I think they’re my official tire store.
