Top 10 pizza in Dallas area. Definitely the most underrated pizza in Dallas. The pizza rivals Cane Rosso. Airy and chewy crust on the inside, while the outside is crisp and nicely blistered. The tomatoes bring volumes of sweet tangy flavor. Can’t wait to go back!

Love this place! It’s our new go to for pizza in Plano! I regrettably always eat my entire pizza because it’s so good! We have gone a few different times & it is always quick, delicious & a great price. Plus it’s BYOB and that’s always a bonus! Servers are always nice & friendly in our experience.

Good local neopolitan pizza. They have a build your own option which gives customers more flexibility. My boyfriend got the standard Margherita and I built my own. Thin crust pizza ftw Oh and service is great.

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s SO good! The customer service is great, the food is amazing, and the prices are even better! I would recommend this place to families and friends. It’s BYOB too. I’ll definitely come back.

Friendly service, but we didn’t enjoy the pizza. Bottom-line, if you prefer crispy crust like I do, don’t go here. The crust is very soft and somewhat rubbery in texture — since I like super-thin crispy crusts, I can’t judge whether this is a good version of a soft crust pizza or not. it’s definitely the kind of pizza you have to roll up to eat. It does come out super-fast. The sauce seems to be nothing more than crushed San Marzano tomatoes. No detectable herbs or other seasonings or ingredients. Very thin and one-dimensional flavor. I like a roasted-tomato type of sauce with plenty of herbs, so again, can’t judge if this is a good version of a more basic sauce of not. The Caesar is plenty large enough for two to split at $ 5, and they offered to split it for us, which was nice. Slightly odd and unidentifiable flavor to the dressing, perhaps it was anchovy although it didn’t really taste like that. It was definitely an ingredient’s flavor vs, say, off taste due to storing it too long in the fridge, though. The salad included a totally unnecessary room-temp triangle of crust, as well. Plus croutons.

Multiple visits, and still just as good, with friendly service. The pizzas are thin, with a mild baking. They are more the«wet» end with sauce, oil, etc. The selection of ingredients is broad, and all fresh tasting. As a tip, the only pizza to get is the margherita because it’s sauce and cheese; the others are good, but this is what most people will want. Also, always get extra basil and some oregano. Just gives that extra«pizza» flavor you want with your ingredients. A fresh«pop» of flavor. My standby is margherita, with extra basil, oregano, prosciutto, black olives, kalamata olives, and mushrooms. Again, great pizza, great service. Would definitely recommend.

Local fast-serve neapolitan pizzeria that has all the makings to be a successful chain to compete with the other non-local incomers(Spin, Blaze, etc). While I don’t think this is the perfect Neapolitan pizza shop, they do hit the mark in several places that makes me a fan. PROS: + VPN-certified pizzas(vera pizza napolitana or true neapolitan pizza), with Caputo 00-type flour, fresh herbs, san marzano tomato sauce, fior di latte mozzarella cheese, etc) — this is something I have not seen other similar fast-casual pizza places in Dallas offer, even those that has neapolitan in its name or description + filtered water machine dispensing THREE types: sparkling, cold still, and room-temp still water + true Italian-style wood-burning pizza oven + can buy the flour and dough to make pizza at home: fresh pizza dough for $ 1.50, Caputo 00 flour(5 lb) for $ 7.50 CONS: — Not much in the dessert offering — No Italian espresso While I thought the cheese on the pizza was both good quality and portioned properly to make any real Italians happy, I thought they put too much of the other ingredients(I had ordered the vegetale which comes with four vegetables, and had a little bit of too much of every vegetable). I substituted, so I didn’t have the exact same stuff that’s listed for the vegetal pizza. The caramelized onions were fine. The mushrooms, I felt, could be cut thinner. The cherry tomatoes are fresh. The 4th «vegetable» that I added was garlic. The availability of fresh herbs here, and even whole leaves, especially at no additional charge, is a big plus. I had them add whole basil leaves The tomato sauce was fresh, but I think I would have liked it to be a little bit more smokey or complex as I thought the flavor profile was a little basic. The flavor of the dough was done better here than the other fast-casual pizzerias of the similar concept that I have been to so far. I did appreciate that they didn’t leave much of a crust, which I thought was also pretty unusual for neapolitan pies. But it did feel like I got more of my money’s worth. Value-wise, this place can’t be beat. And if you’re a student, their $ 4 margherita pizzas on Monday and Tuesday evenings after 5 pm are really and truly a steal. I’d just caution on adding too much stuff, or having too thick of the toppings, especially when neapolitan pizzas are generally thin, and«floppy» by American standards. Perhaps they could have cooked the crust a tad little more if you want the crust to be able to hold itself up better against the overabundance of the toppings instead of being too soggy and wet. But with neapolitan pizzas, it’s not uncommon to eat with a fork and a knife. :) ATMOSPHERE: chill SERVICE: quick, friendly VALUE: best in Dallas for pizza of this type

Exceptional pizza. Great quality and service. I really enjoyed the build your own function to explore some different vegetarian creations. I ordered two«Bianca» pies, or white pies. One had ricotta, feta, olives, red pepper, and caramelized onions. The other had ricotta, Gorgonzola, caramelized onions, and arugula. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious.

Value here is amazing! Although a loss of authenticity can happen when people don’t know how to properly order a Neapolitan pizza Don’t get me wrong this place is definitely authentic enough to keep me, and my loved ones happy. I just wish more people were aware of how real pizza should be before asking for overload of cheese or saying the crust is too soft. This is the way pizza is intended to be. The ingredients are top notch quality, and the balance of ingredients is just right, the staff has been well trained in how to properly balance a Neapolitan pizza, and it shows! I’ve never had their salads, but I hear an insalata caprese can feed two which is another notch on the value side. Neapolitan pizza for the price of a Subway sub?! Shut yo mouth!!! If you are still reading this review instead of driving to Firecrust then you better be in hospital for bedrest, or reading this from a jailhouse, no other excuses will suffice. GOTOFIRECRUSTNOW!!!

Nice pizza joint with an upscale quality. From their ingredients to the oven, you can tell they are a Neapolitan pizzeria. Right when you walk in you are order and move on. The most popular would probably being doing the create your own pizza. You can chose from three different base pizzas. Out of the three I chose the olive oil base and the other two were tomato base. The olive oil base comes with mozzarrella cheese and you can add anything on top. My picks were chicken, sun roasted tomato and mushrooms. I’m guessing I added more to it but I can’t recall what I did… Anyways my total came out to be less than $ 9! The total number of slices were 8! That is super cheap for a thin crust pizza. Their whole motive is 90 seconds to cook the pizzas. The pizza comes out crispy and light just how I like it. If you like drinking water, they have water separated from the fountain drinks. The cool part is they also sell pizza dough! You can buy freshly made pizza dough or the flour used to make the dough. I just saw that the other location in uptown closed so the only standing one is this location. If you are student come by on Monday or Tuesday for a $ 4 pizza.

Love this place. It’s like a popular pie place but with the best ingredients. The crest is thin and crispy with just enough chew in it. They have every pizza ingredient you can imagine and three different styles of pizza.

Very thin slightly crispy but not too crispy. Very large personal size pizza but one person can finish it. Fresh ingredients and made fast in a fire oven. Very clean and neat place. Very organized and friendly and welcoming customer service. I have very picky neices and they ate their whole pie. Will definitely come back to this place. Thanks Jonathan!

Great create-your-own pizza place that actually tastes good! Ingredients look fresh, pizza is cooked in a fire oven and comes out fast! Customer service is on point! Came in with my fiancé this past weekend and we both created our own pizza. As they are serving my fiancé his pizza, the guy told me that he messed up my order and that it would take a few more minutes. Well, a few more minutes turned into my fiancé being about 95% done with his pizza! It wasn’t a big deal to me though, accidents happen. As they came by with my pizza, they also gave us 2 cards(one for each of us) for a free create your own pizza for next time. Well, thanks guys– y’all rock!

«The staff at Firecrust make the visit worth it alone. The manager, Jonathan Kost, makes his rounds to each table to check on his guests satisfaction. I favor Firecrust over it’s competitors for the service, value, close proximity to the ‘burbs, their S’Mores Calzone… and the fact that it’s BYOB.» Read the full review on my blog, !

Fire Crust is an amazing value. Two pizzas(4 topping and 2 topping) and a soda for $ 20. The pizza was served in minutes and was devoured almost as fast. If I’m being completely honest, Cane Rosso tasted a little better. But I don’t need to go there anymore. Fire Crust is almost as good and waaaaay cheaper. I’ve definitely found the place to get my pizza fix. Highly recommended.

I’ve been here twice now(first time during opening week and the second time about a week ago) and had the same great experience both times. Service is absolutely fantastic. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The interior is spacious and bright and I love the completely open design. The concept and flow of the dining experience is awesome! — Come in and choose from either a premade pizza recipe or create your own — Watch them top your pizza with fresh ingredients — Pay and grab a seat — Pizzas are cooked in 90 seconds at 900 degrees and brought to your table! I’ve tried a few of the premade recipes and my favorite is the Prosciutto Arugula. It’s a sauce-less pie topped with romano, EVOO, garlic, prosciutto and arugula. The EVOO makes the deliciously chewy crust slightly crispy and amazing. I know several other reviewers have compared this place to Cane Rosso and I have to agree that it’s pretty similar. I’m just excited I don’t have to drive so far for great neapolitan-style pizza!

I love pizza and even more, I love customizing my pizza. I can put exactly what I want and don’t have to take time to pick things off. The ingredients here are fresh and if they don’t give you enough, just ask for a little more. The crust is crispy and slightly burnt while the middle is soft and flavorful. Just how a neapolitan pizza should look and taste! I can definitely see this being popular with the kids — they love to chose their own stuff. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, try the nutella pizza. It’s a delicious dessert! My one recommendation for this place: Set a standard 4 or 6 topping price and one price for any meat topping. This will allow for customers to easily figure out what they’re paying for their pizza. They have TVs(no sound) and plenty of seating for a large party. After you order and pay, you find yourself a seat. The pizza to be delivered fresh to your table in a matter of minutes. The manager/owner came around each time during my visit to ask how the food was. They have really great service here and I’m glad to have found this place!

Build your own pizza or order what they have(6 «favorites»). You watch them top off your pizza in front of you. We got the SICILIANA — — - $ 10.75, Fire Roasted Italian Sausage, Ham, Fire Roasted Prosciutto, San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Fior Di Latte, Romano and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. You get your pizza in less than 10 minutes. They have also salads and dessert calzones. Only problem– kind wished the crust was less soggy/mushy. You pick up a slice and it flops. Ingredients were plenty, but not abundant. You can taste the«burnt”/fire taste of the oven in each slice. Not sure if I was a fan of that aftertaste. So the pizza itself was on the bland side. Service was excellent though. Sparkling water is free here.

The staff is so friendly and the service is great! I love how they use fresh ingredients for the pizza which is hard to find these days. The prices are very affordable. I personally would not get a pizza with too much tomato sauce because it makes the pizza bread very soggy. So that’s something to keep in mind. The tomato sauce for the pizza is pretty bland. I would recommend getting the margarita pizza. It’s pretty hard to mess up on that pizza though.
