Floor Expo

This place is amazing! Very fair pricing and great customer service. Zubi specifically made us feel very comfortable and even encouraged us to go to other places before making a flooring decision.
We ended up installing an engineered hardwood and it looks amazing! The workers that installed it took great care of our home and furniture.
I highly recommend this place, as they are extremely trustworthy and do great work, all with extremely competitive pricing!

My husband and I highly recommend the Floor Expo. The staff was so helpful and understood that I just needed the best looking inexpensive laminate and carpet as we were putting our house on the market to sell. We had visited some other big and small shops prior to finding Floor Expo and they all wanted to sell us more expensive and nicer stuff. They could not grasp that we just needed new but basic flooring before selling it. As soon as we spoke with the owner we knew we were in the right place. They will work with your budget, match prices, find what you are looking for if they don’t have it. We came in and put ½ down for new flooring for a 2600 sq. ft. house months in advance of needing it. When I called a few months later they remembered who I was and were ready to schedule install. They just installed all the carpet yesterday and did a wonderful job. They were careful with the rest of the house as we had just finished repainting walls, window sills, banister and baseboards. They cleaned up everything prior to leaving. They even haled off the old carpet that we had ripped out ourselves so we would have time to prep the floors before they installed the new carpet. We will definitely go back to them if we need to flooring in our next house!

Alright, so it’s been about a month and a half since we first came to Floor Expo and we’ve actually had a good experience. We’ve been looking for laminate flooring and had gone to several places including the big box stores, some little box stores, surplus and other miscellany. We had stopped by a store near by and weren’t all that impressed and saw this place and decided, «what the heck, why not.?»
We walk in and Zubi is there to help us. He has a thick accent so sometimes it’s hard to understand what he’s saying but for the most part, it’s no big deal. We start off by telling him that we want laminate and he says, «how much do you want to spend?»
«Oh. I don’t know, maybe $ 2.50/sq ft.?»
Zubi: «For $ 2.50, you can get any laminate in the store.»
I look at the Wife and she looks at me and we are a little taken back. So we start looking then. The inside of the store is packed with samples of flooring. Seriously, every wall has samples. Board after board after board of different colors and textures and brands, you name it. I’d say this place has probably 2 – 3 times more samples than any other store we went to. It’s kinda amazing, even though it looks like a hot mess.
We settle on the Toscana brand and there’s a Brazilian Cherry we like. We end up making a deal on the laminate flooring that day and put down a deposit.
Well, a couple days pass for Zubi to order the laminate and he then tells us we can pick it up, so we take our in-law’s highlander to the store to pick it up. Of course, it won’t all fit so we come home with 14 boxes. We open up one of the boxes and lay out 3 – 4 pieces to see how it looks. The wife starts to waver and long story short, she decides that she doesn’t like the look of it. She thought it looked fake.
Oh man. Now what do we do? Well, we go back to Zubi and tell him what’s up and he doesn’t skip a beat. He tells us to decide what we want to do and starts giving us options. We look over the samples and settle on another brand, Lawson, and take the sample home to sleep on it. The Wife decides she likes the new brand over the old Toscana, so I take the flooring back to the warehouse and then take our truck to a different warehouse to pick up the Lawson.
No big deal. All this time, Zubi has been a huge help and just wanted us to be happy with what we bought. And we are and we’re very thankful that we found Zubi and Floor Expo. If we ever have to buy flooring again, I’m sure we’ll come back.

I urge you to please, please, please go to any other store than a Floor Expo chain. They will take your money and leave you waiting. I purchased granite countertops and a backsplash from them with the promise it would be installed within 3 – 4 weeks. 5 weeks later, I had to delay my move into my new house since they had still not installed the items. Calls to the sales person were ignored for days and no one would give me an install date.
The sales person (Ron) was just plain crooked — once they have your money, you may wait forever with no recourse — the contract states no returns after 15 days of purchase.
In addition, the backsplash installers were lazy and put many of the tiles up crooked. We had to force them to redo large sections of the work and even then it was far from perfect.
They also destroyed the back wall and had to redo it with updated hardi-​backer. Floor Expo had the gall to call me and ask me to pay for this extra that was only needed because their installers screwed up. Yeah right is what I told them.
End result is it’s not worth the risk. There are many other companies out there that are BBB accredited. Please use someone, anyone else.
