Gymboree Store

The manager that works there has no customer service skills!!! The sad thing is she is there at all times. I have never gone there without her not being there! She makes you uncomfortable and unwelcome.

The clothes are cute and coordinate well from season to season. (As they should for what you pay for them.)
There are always tons of sales and discounts which is good and bad. Good if your getting them but bad if ya just bought something.
Checkout can be trying but its usually b/​c the mom is putting stuff back or changing out items to get the discount.
So, good stuff, hit the sales and don’t be in a rush when you come to shop.

Let me start by saying today is black Friday, and we were out to do some shopping. So we walk into Gymboree, and the clerk behind counter sees that my husband and I are wearing U of Michigan clothes, and says loud so everyone can hear, «ohhh Michigan… yuck…“So we ignore the rude comment and continue shopping. Then a few minutes later she says (once again very loud) «Yuck Michigan, if it wasn’t the holidays, I’d ask you to leave»… How unbelievably unprofessional and rude. Seriously. I put down the few items we planned on buying and walked out. This lady obviously had a problem, but she should have kept it to herself. I can take a joke, but saying to paying customers she would have us leave was too much. Wish I could’ve got her name before I left. She may have a problem with Michigan but considering she’s working as a clerk in a strip mall, it doesn’t appear whichever college she choose worked out too well for her…
