I just moved from California to Dallas several months ago, and I needed to have a health check-up and some shots. Most staff here are friendly, but Im very surprised to find that the doctor was impatient when I asked him more details about exam process/results. Shouldn’t doctor help to answer and explain well to his patients? Besides, for the vaccine, they charged me much more than what they first told me on the phone. It was a very unhappy experience!

I would give a three, but that really only reflects how I feel about the rather unfriendly staff. Perhaps they were nicer two years ago, perhaps they have more bad days than good days now, perhaps they are grumpy early morning. Who knows? As for the doctor, I see Dr. Chung-Wei Hsu at this office, and I agree completely with the previous posting about the doctor. Dr. Hsu is so awesome and caring and available. I had allergic reactions to the antibiotics he prescribed and called him on a Saturday(after hours). He called back very promptly(within the hour). This went a long way to alleviate my fears of «oh my gosh, what’s going on!!!» Over the next few days, he continued to be responsive to phone calls about the progression of the reaction which continued after I stopped taking the antibiotics. Overall, I liked this place. Just don’t expect great service. :) P. S. Google now shows the office as «Hsu and Meng MD.» P. P. S. Appointments seem to be optional, but I can usually get an appointment in half an hour when I call last minute.

Clean office, really delightful staff, and doctors meet with patients on time with appointments. Dr. Chung-Wei Hsu is my doctor at this practice, and I think he’s fantastic: friendly and professional, *listens* very well, asks lots of questions and gives great advice, and I always feel very at ease with him. If you are in the Richardson/Plano/Dallas area and are looking for an excellent GP, you’ll find a good home here!
