realtalk, y’all: i’ve had more lash technicians than boyfriends. some were short-lived relationships, like that one spa in addison that lead me into a close approximation of an underground dungeon for my extensions. some i tried to commit to solely because i really liked the technician a lot more than the results. some were one night stands via groupon that i felt dirty and wrong about. but like my girl carrie bradshaw from sex and the city, i know what i want. i’m looking for lashes– long lashes. ridiculous, voluminous, multi-layered, can’t-live-without-them lashes. but also like carrie, i’m not the easiest client. i have short, stubby, sparse eyelashes that are as insubstantial and pointless as cotton candy fiber. every tech has made a heroic effort to defy math and glue 50+ false eyelashes onto my existing 3, and they’ve amounted to mixed results. but linda is the master, and i feel like i’ve finally settled down into a sustainable relationship. she’s easygoing and her schedule is flexible– i just shoot her a text a day or two before my desired appointment and she responds very quicky. she’s sweet and friendly but not super chatty, which makes it easy for me to nap through my refills(they only take an hour or less but i am incapable of being horizontal without falling asleep immediately– have been evaluated for narcolepsy but ultimately diagnosed as just actually really lazy). she legitimately personalizes your extensions, allowing you creative control over the curl, length, and style. and most importantly– she’s really good. her technique involves multiple layers, creating the illusion that i wasn’t actually robbed in the gene pool. the synthetic lashes she uses don’t look as fake or plastic as ones i’ve had before, and manage to look natural even while they’re dramatically full. lash extensions are an expensive beauty routine no matter where you go, and linda’s pricing is pretty much on par with every other salon i’ve visited. but here’s the thing– you can take away my blowouts, my facials, my waxes, but i will NEVER give up my lashes. they are the absolute staple of my beauty upkeep and the one defense standing in between me and people asking«are you sick? your eyes look so tired» and i want to just be like«man no these are just my eyes they are very small.» but thanks to linda, my lashes always be on point and i am looking like a closer approximation of a real human being after every trip to her salon suite. and i strongly suspect that this will be my longest, happiest lash relationship yet.

I got multilayer lash extensions for an out of town event. I followed their directions but ALL of the lashes fell out within two days. Initially they refused to offer me a refund, instead offering me another set of lashes which I do not need now. Then they offered me a refund but when I accepted, I got a nasty email from them telling me they would not refund any money to me. Bad product, bad business practices, bad manners, bad experience. I do not recommend this company at all.

Awesome lash place! She did my first set today(same day appointment) and they look great! Not too over the top but noticeable enough for me. I love them! Took about an hour for a full set and was not nearly as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. Not to mention how sweet Linda is :-) If you are on the fence let her do them for you!
