Had some highlights done a couple of months ago and my roots were growing back and of course you could see the line of demarcation. But Mai came to the rescue! She was able to darken my hair and blend in my roots with the highlights so that it looked more like an ombré instead. Amazing work, followed by some bang trimming. She’s so sweet and talented. Can’t wait until I come back for a haircut. I know she will work wonders with my hair.
Cute salon too, equipped with a little boutique on the side where they sell little trinkets and gifts. It gets kinda boring when you have to wait for your hair color to set, so you’re free to roam around and shop!

I was looking for a new stylist and booked an appointment at Luxe based on the overall great reviews of the salon. Deanna is awesome, best highlights I’ve had in years! She takes the time to really listen & understand the look you want — And, unlike my last stylist, she’s always on time. Love my highlights! And definitely recommend Deanna!!!

So, after a horrible experience at a different location, I was in desperation to find a salon to take care of what I wanted to do. I called them before I headed there, the lady who answered me was VERY SWEET, I explained to her my situation, and she told me to come by. I took my friend as well she wanted to get her hair extensions colored and I wanted to get an ombré done. They ladies who took care of us gave us their opinions but also listened more so to ours ! And the ending results towards the end was amazing, I was so happy how it turned out! I’ve gone here twice and I’ve walked out very satisfied on both times! Thank you so much for the patience and time ladies !

Another update on Luxe. I am always amazed on the gifts I can get here at Luxe for Christmas and birthdays. I went there for a haircut and ended up finishing Christmas shopping. They even wrapped it for me !

It was such a warm, comfortable feeling walking in. I was greeted immediately and was offered wine. Shameka was the one caring for me. What she did was a work of art. She’s my first hair stylist to ask if I have my legs crossed (which can throw off the accuracy of the cut!!!). That should give you an idea to how in tune she is to the small details. I highly recommend Luxe! Love their Kerastase products! I left there smelling great from the products and looking n feeling wonderful! Go ask for Shameka! I’ll def be back!

I’ve been hopping around trying to find a decent stylist who knew how to cut and color my hair and I think I’ve finally found it!
I came in with the worse haircut since my mushroom cut. Clearly she had no idea what I had envisioned! So, my adventure for a new salon began!
I took a chance with Luxe. I was roaming around Preston and I stumbled upon Luxe, and boy am I thankful!
At first glance this place seems a bit out of place. A salon combined with a gift shop kind of threw me off, but it was nice to roam around while waiting to be consulted. At the front desk I wasn’t greeted as friendly as I would have liked, but it was 3 hours close to closing and I could see she was agitated with working. Still no excuse for an attitude.
Although, my whole experience from the wash to cut to style was amazing. My stylist, Denna, made it clear to formerly explain to me before hand what she was going to do to my hair and how she would be bleaching and highlighting my hair.
Denna is a miracle worker! She was able to kept my length while maintaining a great shape around my face. She made sure to guide me each step of the way. As a result, my hair was healthier, shiny, and full of volume; which was quite a surprise!
I’ll definitely be back for Denna!

The inside is very chic. On one side of the salon is a little gift shop with lots of cute trinkets for purchase.
When I first arrived, the lady at the front desk (who was very nice) led me to the back of the salon where I then changed into a nice robe before my dye job. She then brought me a specialty coffee drink while I waited for my stylist, Kristina, to arrive.
Kristina was super friendly and a pleasure to be around. I was highlighting my hair for the first time in years and she really listened to my concerns for a natural and subtle color. Let me tell you, the end result was spot on! I love my dye job and have gotten so many compliments on it. If you need someone to help with color, Kristina is your girl!

I have been going to an Aveda salon for quite some time and became unhappy that my hair stylist wasn’t listening to what I wanted, and my hair was looking terrible for as much as I was paying for highlights. I was so unhappy with my hair even though I recently had it done, I started to look for a new place. I was nervous and worried about starting over and picking a new place without a recommendation. I made an appointment with Deborah and took a chance, and I’m SO GLAD that I did! Deborah listened to what I wanted and absolutely hit it out of the park! She did my highlights and cut my hair, and it looks amazing, I could not be happier with the result. I will most definitely be back to Luxe to have Deborah do my hair again!

What a cute little place!
I’ve not ever been here to get my hair done, but I did drop in here to purchase some Kerastase products. The interior is very swanky yet with an almost industrial look — VERY pretty! There is a great little gift shop area with random things like jewelry and picture frames. Next time I need to get a quick gift for something, I’ll definitely just go in here! I love the look and location of this salon. The lady who helped me was very friendly as well!

There’s nothing better than sipping a glass of wine as you’re getting your hair shampooed and your head massaged.
The whole experience from wash to cut to style was great. My stylist, Kristina, made it a point to create a relaxing, detox-​from-​the-​day environment as she cut my hair. Not only did she fix a terrible haircut I endured at a different salon (which my husband attempted to fix *disastrous*), she also used her expertise to interpret the look I was going for and shape my hair to match it. To her credit, she is a listener, but she’ll also let you know if she thinks your idea of what you want may not work for you. I appreciated her honesty.

Very nice salon in a great location. Very clean and modern. Kristina did a great job on my hair. Very personable and up on current styles. Would recommend this stylist and salon to anyone.

I really want to like this place… It’s close and super convenient. The inside of the salon itself is nice.
The color I received was just o.k. The girl that did my hair reeked of cigarette smoke which made the appt. a very miserable and long process.
The fact that the owner will not allow tips to be added on the credit card tab alone is reason enough to never come back here. I’ve never heard of a high end salon doing this. I had to leave, go to an ATM, and make a special trip back to leave a tip in cash. (I’m never not going to leave a tip)
There’s too many professional/​high end salons in Dallas to come back here.

Got my haircut at Luxe 3 times.
First time was awesome. Then I found out the stylist had left.
Second time, it was okay. I was hoping for a cool-​unique hairstyle, but there was no WOW factor. On my return visit, it was better. Then I find out this stylist had left also.
At Luxe, you definitely get what you pay for. The service is top-​notch. The stylists look and act like professional stylists. The place is clean and they treat you like a loyal customer. My haircuts have ranged from $ 35-​$ 45.
Bring cash because you can not leave tip on your CC. I usually pay for my cut with CC then tip $ 10 in cash.

As a guy, I used to get my hair cut at a barber shop or anywhere where I could get my hair cut inexpensively and fast. The results tended to be a bit on the abysmal side, given that I have curly hair and it tends to look a bit sloppy when cut poorly. Then I found the Luxe Salon and I have been coming here to get my hair cut for about 8 months and I must say that the service and the quality of the haircut are phenonmenal!
The owner, Dale Collins, cuts my hair and he is not only personable but also well skilled at taming my unruly hair.
I like the atmosphere, the quality of the service, the quality of the people and recommend this salon highly.
