Magic Nails

I tried the NexGen product here and loved it! They didn’t have to use drills or anything on my nails that would hurt my nails or skin. Definitely love it, and will come back! The staff are really nice and friendly

Don’t go here! Went in because I had a $ 5 off coupon from the back of my Kroger receipt. I was a walk in and I appreciate they for me in, even though I waited 40 min. The lady removed by old gel and asked if I wanted a manicure too. All other salons this is included, so I was confused. She did not file, shape my nails. She trimmed one cuticle with what appeared to be a dirty tool. She did not take all the color off and my new color was lighter and you can still see the old color underneath. I told her this, but she said it would be ok, it wouldn’t show. By the time we were into 2^nd coat, I didn’t care and wanted to be done. When I presented my coupon they would not honor it. Said it had to be on s service of $ 35 or more. The coupon only said «$ 5 off shellac or gel.» I was beyond upset. I called Kroger and told them to stop printing their ad since they obviously will not honor them. So frustrating!

Please do not go here for a manicure or gel nails! I recently went in to get a mani-​pedi with gel polish. The pedicure was very well done and the lady that did it was very nice and friendly. However for my manicure, another lady that did it was very unfriendly and my «manicure» was only rubbing my arms with oil. Also, my gel nails started cracking and tearing off within 2 days. I’ve been to way better nail salons.

I wanted to like this place, it is right around the corner from our house and seemed to have good reviews. What I thought would be a quick gel manicure took nearly 2 hours. The first lady, Anna was very nice and helpful. I liked her. She had an appointment come in so I was passed to another girl. I told her three times there was a gap in color on one of my nails and she said it would be fine once she was done. It wasn’t. And I mentioned it again and she just filed my nail more which wasn’t the problem. The gap was at the top of the nail and it looked like my nails were already growing out. Also, there was polish on my skin that she didn’t clean off. I appreciate that they took me without an appointment but I will be going some where else next time.

I just moved to this area so I’m not familiar with any of the nail salons around here. I just searched for a nail salon and they popped up and were close to me. They also did a FABULOUS job. I got my first gel/​shellac manicure (I usually get acrylic) and I’m in love. I missed the gentlemen’s name who did them but he did a great job and it was fast too. This place is definitely going to be where I go from now on.

Today I had the experience of going to Magic Nails and I must say this was a wonderful experience. The place was clean and nice. Also, Laura my nail tech was such a blessing to do my nails and my eyebrows. This was the best manicure I’ve had in a very long time. I must say I will be returning. Thank you for the great experience.

I would give 4 stars for the management and service before the current one. I think it was run by a family. It was all good and for $ 20 I’d get amazing pedicure done. Had no complaints. It was my go-​to pedicure place. Close to my home, no appointments needed.
The management now has increased the prices and I feel its not worth it. I had a very weird experience during my most recent visit. The lady who did my pedicure was rude and kept checking her phone while doing my nails. She didn’t do a good job. The staff had some kind of disagreement before me which made me feel uncomfortable. Won’t go back. It used to be a good place.

This is a new nail salon recently opened in Plano area. It was my sister’s birthday so we decided to try out this new place, that was recommended by a friend. My gel nails turned out FANTASTIC! I was really happy and pleased with the service I got from Magic Nails. The owner of the salon was very friendly and attentive. The salon isn’t too big, however, it was a nice and cozy salon that I wouldn’t mind to come by myself and spend a relaxing afternoon here. I got my gel nails done by one of the male employees. He was extremely professional and actually took time to understand the design I wanted, unlike any other nail salons that I have been before. Overall, it was a great experience and I really appreciate the efforts they put in to meet customers’ needs. I’d recommend to those whom have been trying to find a good nail salon in Plano area. I will definitely come back! :)

I have been here twice because I wanted to give them a chance at redeeming themselves after the first visit. I won’t be back.
It is a small and clean salon but all of the employees were speaking to each other the entire time in their language I think Vietnamese. They were loud and never spoke to the 3 customers there. 2 of the employees were on the small couch area toward the back eating. Very unprofessional and rude not to at least engage their customers in any conversation. Mani held up about a week and the pedi left a lot to be desired massage was nothing more than rubbing in the lotion and they made my cuticle bleed on 2 toes.

I went there on a whim just looking for a new place. It was pretty quiet since it was a Monday afternoon but they did a great job. The atmosphere was great and the place was updated and clean. I think I found my new nail place :)
