The cheese is stretchy, the way it should be. I’m from the NE and its really hard to find good NY style Pizza in Dallas, its a little hard to find, but it’s worth it!

The Italian food, bread, and salad were amazing! Highly recommend eating here or grabbing one meal for 2 people to split(portions are large/GREAT) The olive oil used in their Alfredo sauce & on their garlic knots is the best I’ve tasted in quite sometime!

Best authentic pizza in the Plano, Richardson, Allen, McKinney, Frisco area. Great owner who’s originally from NY. Great service with a strong NY personality.

This place is fantastic! We got the meat pizza and garlic knots… the pizza has that homemade taste and perfect crust. Not to mentiom, it’s huge! The garlic knots were pillowy soft and flavorful — some of the best I’ve ever had.

In Plano for the Bison game tomorrow and ordered a pizza. We got a large pepperoni pie and cheesy bread. The hotel is about 2 miles from the pizza place. Given that delivery took about 45 minutes. The cheese bread was basically a cheese pizza without sauce, sauce was on the side. It was pretty good, add the sauce and it tastes like a cheese pizza. The pepperoni was good, not great. The crust was done right. If I’m in the area again I will not hesitate to get pie from again

This place is authentic and so so good. The garlic knots are the best rolls in dfw! Just know they have so much garlicky goodness that you may not want to kiss your loved ones for a couple days. Really great value!

I decided to do something I don’t do and its to go back and try a place I already rated bad. But looking at all the reviews I convinced myself that maybe they had a bad day. 1st.the owner has an attitude. I think when ever he feels like being nice he is. 2nd. I think people in texas dont knoow what pizza is supposed to taste like. The sauce was overly sweet and the cheese made squeaking noises in my mouth. People that is not pizza. 3rd… the famous garlic knots. wtf are those. .its a ball of dough that has oil chunks of garlic. 4th… I heard him ask a customer if his cc was real and I got a chuckle out so I decided to play with him a bit. I gave him $ 50 bill and when he gave me my change I told thank god u cashed it because I just made them in my basement he got so upset. I started laughing and asked him what’s the difference between what you did and what I did and he said because its my place I can do what I want lmao. I said yes u can but u can dish it out but u cant take it. What a joke. Not going back

I left my heart at Marinara’s. What a gem this joint is. The owner makes you feel like you walked into a friends house and bangs out some of the best pizza my belly has ever had. If you like big cheesy greasy slices of pizza this is your place. If you want good customer service this is your place. Sal is very hospitable which made my first experience all that much better. I have a full belly and a full heart after leaving this place.

When you walk in here and order a pizza, the owner will take fresh dough, spread it into a pie, and make the pizza from scratch right in front of you. He also has homemade sausage. I love the food I get here. You can taste the freshness and love that goes into it. We love this place. I usually get the supreme pizza with anchovies. Yes, anchovies! I recently tried a pasta dish and it was fantastic. I ordered the chicken parmigiana. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the breading was just right(nice and thin), the sauce was zesty, and the cheese… oh man the cheese. The pasta on the side was not only perfectly al dente, it was also sauteed in olive oil. What an amazing surprise for a place with«Pizza» in its name. Definitely try their pasta dishes when you are in the mood for pasta. I think they are BYOB, but I have not B my O B yet, so I am not 100% sure. Bonus, the owner is a real character. :-D Definitely a hidden gem.

I almost gave up on Texas’s take on pizza. As I mentioned in previous reviews, I’m a real foodie from NYC, so I KNOW pizza. I also ate pizza in the birthplace of pizza, Naples, Italy.(Just an excerpt from my Foodie Resume). I walked in a skeptic and walked out a fan of this restaurant. The pizza is so delicious! The canoli and garlic knots are worth every penny. I ate a regular cheese slice. I didn’t post a picture because I was so focused on the pizza, I forgot to take one. The pizza is not exactly like the pizza I grew up eating most of my life in the Bronx, but it’s so close. The only major difference is that NY pizza shops make the crust a little thinner. Sal, the owner, is so friendly. Of course, we talked about a lot of the familiar places we know back home in NY. I will definitely be back!

We were hungry and decided to Unilocal for pizzas. Found this spot that boasted nearly 5 stars. The pictures indicated this was different from other pizzerias so I was excited to try it out. I had a supreme slice and the girls had a pepperoni. I learned from the owner that he uses homemade sausage which I think is important if you want to separate yourself from others. The pepperoni was average, the sausage was average but the cheese and bread was above average. Of the 5 or so other pizza shops I’ve visited, this one is the best. The guy is pretty chill, made some small talk and learned he’s been in this racket for 20 years. The girls approved of the pizza, they have their dad’s palate so trust. Looks like we’ve found our new pizza shop. They’re known for these garlic ball thingys which I ordered to go so we’ll see.

Had to get a late meal and it was amazing! So this time we got the chicken Alfredo and the chicken parmesiana with the usual garlic knots! Chicken Alfredo: The chicken here is always cooked to perfection! It’s never dry, always moist and tender! The Alfredo cream sauce is mellow here and is not overpowered by the seasonings other places usually put in. It balances the seasoned chicken very well! You also get quite a bit so you may need a to go box. Chicken Parmesiana: The chicken is also perfect in this dish! It is topped with loads of mozzerella and has a great amount of home made tomato sauce which is perfectly balanced with no strong individual flavors. You get a lot of spaghetti pasta so you won’t be left feeling hungry afterwards. Garlic knots are always perfect! Everyone at work loves them so I always make sure I take a box to go for them the next day. Thanks again for the awesome meal!

My son and I stopped through Dallas while driving across the U.S. and decided to stop at a nearby hotel for the night. This restaurant popped up on Unilocal with great reviews and I can see why. GREAT food and the owner was VERY nice and SO welcoming. He chatted with my son and I and even gave us yummy Italian ice for the road. My son had a calzone that he loved and I had a slice of pizza that I couldn’t stop eating. Huge crispy slices. Delicious food and great customer service. 2 thumbs up!

I really enjoyed the food here. It’s a nice hole-in-the-wall place with very fresh food. The 18 inch Meat Specialty Pizza is HUGE! Couldn’t even finish it. The salad was just OK, esp for $ 5.50. But with drink and everything, it was a well priced meal… I’d skip the salad for sure. A few comments though: it’s college game day, soccer shouldn’t be on. No offense, but play to your patrons. no one was watching it. Shouldn’t have to ask honestly. On a Saturday nite you know you’ll be busy; two guys can’t run it all. both of them were swamped and we had to wait on our check. That’s the only thing that kept this from 5 stars, cause the pizza was the shit!

This is our favorite pizza place in our home town of Plano! Hand tossed and ample toppings make it a great value and delicious meal We are herding to New York City this week for vacation and will see how the big city«top joints» compare. We like a hand tossed or thin crust, lots of garlic, plenty of toppings and a large slice that holds up to the fold test.

Excellent, food and friendly people. The garlic knots should not be passed up. The owner has a very casual, customer service oriented place which makes for a nice meal. Pizza can be bought by the slice, so feel free to experiment and branch out. On, and those slices are about the size of your head, so you probably don’t want three unless you’re trying to win an award or lost a bet to your buddy. Good food, friendly folks. Hvala vam puno! I really wanted to like this place! I really did. I came on a not-so-busy day. The guy working behind the counter was really, really nice. I just didn’t like the pizza because there was WAY too much cheese. The cheese had also this glue-y consistency — super thick and chewy… I don’t know. I wanted there not to be so much thick cheese and for there to be more flavor. I liked the ricotta part of the ricotta pizza and the crust is spot-on. The cheese just ruined it for me. The slices are HUGe though. And only $ 3 each.

I was stuck at the mechanics for a few hours the other day and I spotted this little pizza joint located in the same complex. My mechanic told me that it was great pizza and that I should check it out. Walking in, the décor is nothing fabulous or showy. There are a few tables and chairs and a few booths that line the wall both inside the restaurant and then outside the extorior. The menu is hanging above the counter. I walked towards the counter and peered at the pizzas that were baked that morning and decided on a slice of margarita pizza and some garlic knots. The owner explained that he would heat up my food and bring it to me later — I could pay him when I was done eating. When he brought me my slice and my garlic knots, the slice was bigger than my face and the garlic knots were lathered with herbs and fresh garlic. I ordered a side of marinara sauce to dip the garlicy goodness of my knots into. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I scarffed it down and was super full. I walked up to the counter to pay and Sal, the owner, told me that it was $ 5.50. What?! $ 5.50 for a HUGE slice of pizza that was made fresh that day and 6 garlic knots dripping with garlicy goodness and a side of marinara. Shut. Up. I am coming back tonight.

Wowwwwww! Best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m super picky too! I will be back 1000 times so delicious and fresh. They put a lot of love into their food. Amazing flavor, gooey cheese, fresh basil = Heaven!
