We needed the edges of our wall to wall bathroom vanity mirrors covered. Their product is outstanding and their staff are professional and helpful. My mirrors look beautiful. Thank you to Gay and Zeeshan for renewing my faith in customer service and pride in work and product.

I needed some prints framed asap for a charity auction. When I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces… There was artwork all over the walls and beautifully framed. I new I was in the right place. They spent a good hour with us going over the different possibilities, pricing etc. One thing I really liked was as we went through the different possibilities something might have been a little pricy, and they had an alternative that was less money but just as beautiful! When I picked up the 2 works a week later I was taken about at how beautiful they looked. My photographs were very good, but once they were framed and matted they were exquisite. I can think of not other place that I will go for framing. They will get all my business for now on.

I have been carrying around some wonderful street art I obtained on a business trip to New York City right after the tragedy of 9 – 11. While the newly immigrated Polish artist did not capture any images of the World Trade Center, there is an underlying current of something terrible underneath the lush, detailed scenery of general NYC street life, These colored pen renderings have been stored in a box(yes, I know, I get 20 thrashes with a wet noodle for not taking care of my art) for years. As to why I have never had these very meaningful works of art framed before, I have no answer, but I finally stopped by the Art & Frame Depot to get the deed done once and for all. The minute I walked in the small and modest looking store on the corner of Hedgecox and Coit, it was clear I picked the right place. The walls are covered from floor to ceiling with works of art ranging from traditional paintings to iron designs and every variety of mirror. It did not resemble the chain frame stores, and the pieces on display were unique and many appeared to be one of a kind. I inhaled the heady scent of oil paints and headed for the service counter in the back. Gay Tomasch greeted me amongst a back wall covered with every conceivable type of frame and sample matte books covered the counter. Gay was wonderful! She reviewed my art and we discussed exactly how I envisioned them and why they were important. She spent at least 30 minutes bringing out various frame sections at my request and when I could not seem to decide on some things, she made suggestions that brought my focus back. She also was quick to point out the frames and mattings that were on sale or discontinued for cost savings. The price I paid for the frames and mats I selected was reasonable and fair considering some of the work that was required. I left my art in Gay’s capable hands and within 7 business days, she called me to let me know they were ready. When I went in to review them, I could not have been more pleased with how wonderful they looked. One in particular was simply awe inspiring and far exceeded my expectations. A friend who visited my casa shortly after I had picked them up could not stop looking at them. As a Post Script, I do not remember the name of that street artist, and his signature on his works are illegible, but I hope that he has found some success with his craft and realizes that at a minimum, his outside reflections on a city with deep wounds has touched others’ lives.
