Pets Need Nannies TOO

I needed someone to let my dogs outside during the afternoon while I was at work for two weeks. I looked at boarding, at various walkers, and eventually chose PNNT because they were nearby and I could not find any negative reviews. I have one dog that is a very excited, hyper one year old and he’s a real handful. I was concerned that a walker would not want to deal with him.
I called and left a message, my call was returned a couple of hours later and I set up an appointment for the lady to meet my dogs. When she arrived she was very polite, very friendly and very nice to the dogs. The paperwork was minimal and all very reasonable, and it was nice to see that she had obviously done this before. I provided house access and that was that.
On Monday I got home from work, and there was a sheet of paper on my dining table with a record of the day’s activities. I had not requested walking, just outdoor play time, and from the two tired pooches it was obvious they had gotten what I paid for. She left a log every day and detailed their bathroom status, their food and water levels, and how much of what kind of playtime they had. On one occasion she had to follow my troublemaker dog into a bedroom to retrieve him, and that was detailed in the log as well. I very much appreciated that she noted this as I obviously want to be able to trust people with access to my house.
Overall I was very pleased with the treatment that my dogs received. They were tired when I came home from work every day, and always had some fresh water even though I had not requested that she top it off. My dogs showed no signs of rough or inappropriate treatment. She was friendly, polite and professional, and I will definitely be calling on her again in the future if pet care is needed.
