CHICKENCURRYPHOISTHEBEST!!! We just keep coming back to Phở Que Huong — we’re regulars! I am addicted to the chicken curry phở. I admit it! Smooh spicy redolent exotic yellow curry broth over tender rice noodles swimming in a coconut-infused broth, and spiked liberally with fresh basil and cilantro — there is nothing better on a cold night than this soup. It’s my crave, and no one does it better. Their phở broth is always nice and clean flavored, with detectable spice that doesn’t overwhelm the deep beefy flavor you only get from long-simmering. One of the top 3 phở broths in the area — and with phở, it’s ALL about that BROTH! Service is quick, friendly, and efficient. Most of the wait staff speaks English, but some of the folks that are there to seat you quickly may not. However, they are very friendly and will accommodate your choice of where to sit if you just point where you want to go. For those of us who need to sit in the warmer dining room rather than the cooler banquet room, pointing works :)

This place rocks. Big portions and incredibly low prices. 4 spring rolls, 2 enormous grilled dinners, and a coffee to go for 26 $. And the quality of food is first rate delicious. Well done.

I’ve been coming to this location quite a bit because it’s close to my office. The most recent time I went with my coworker. She was surprised to see that there were two cups of eating waiting on the table that we were being sat at. I had to explain to her that this isn’t a place where you come and hang out. You come in, eat and go! The price for a bowl of phở here is pretty decent. For a regular bowl of phở dac biet, it’s 6.95 and the large is 7.95. The broth is pretty flavorful and they don’t skimp on the meat and noodles. They give you plenty of bean sprouts and basil as well. I like to eat fresh jalapeños with my phở and when I ask for extra they always bring out a lot and not give an attitude about it. There is plenty of tables in two seating areas. There’s also a few big communal tables that they’ll sit you in if you’re alone or it they’re busy. Again, the name of the game is volume so if they have to sit you next to a stranger to sell another bowl of phở, they will.

Wife and I were down for some good Vietnamese food and she happened to have a coupon for this place. We walked in with high expectations having read some good Unilocal reviews. The restaurant was half full with diners and it was considerably clean. We were seated right away and provided a menu. The gentleman who I assumed was the manager was helpful in recommending some of the popular dishes. We ordered the following: 06. Thai Iced Tea with Tapioca — $ 2.95 P15 — Eye of Round Steak — $ 7:50 C7 — Grilled Sliced Beef with Fried Rice — $ 7.95 The food and drinks came quickly, however my reason for the low stars is as follows: Wife’s Grilled Sliced Beef with Fried Rice came out cold, it’s like it was sitting somewhere or had been a previously cancelled order. The beef was tough and hard to chew. She had also asked for Fried rice but they brought steamed rice. They took the order back and brought back the food with fried rice, but the beef and veggies were still cold. I let the lady know about this and she apologized. My Eye of Round Steak was o.k., but I’ve had better somewhere else. I just thought the soup was a little diluted with water and didn’t have the good flavor that the steak and spices bring in when it is stewed in well. The Thai iced tea was o.k., nothing exceptional about it. Oh, and I had a tummy ache later on, not sure what could have triggered it. I would have liked to give these guys a better review, but I think there is room for improvement based on the above review.

I had to wait 20 minutes for my phở. It was the first one on the menu so I assumed that it’s a popular choice and the kitchen made it often so they would be quick about it. But it took them just as long as it took my friends to finish their large bowl to make it. I bet the kitchen forgot about my order. Service aside, I was pretty happy about the food. I got a P1 regular. It looks like this: (thanks fellow Unilocaler!) I like the soup base, which was very light, and the shop was very generous about putting in a lot of meat. I was glad that I got a regular size, because I was barely able to finish it, and only drank maybe ¼ of the soup. Although the service was slow this time, I am pretty happy about the food and the environment. It’s rare to find good phở places in Plano.

Phở Que Huong has some of the best Vietnamese in Richardson and Plano. What I love: Regardless of the time it is always packed with customers and mostly Asian ones who know where to find the most authentic food. Incredible value regardless of what you order. You do not leave hungry here! I try not to GASP, but you should see the LARGE bowls of Phở. HUGE! Ingredients and condiments are always sparking fresh and the flavors are not«Americanized». Service is stellar, accommodating and welcoming. Even when it is full they will find you a seat. Shimmery and sparkly CLEAN from parking lot to dining area to bathrooms. I could write a novel on the Bahn sandwiches. The foot long steak is overstuffed with toothsome meat. But it is the fresh made French bread that pushes it from good to GREATNESS! Crust is crunchy and the rest is chewey goodness! They don’t go overboard on the menu and drink options!!!

I know this is a chain phở restaurant and I’m probably offended many Vietnamese people by proclaiming my love for Phở Que Huong, but I love this place! It is really close to work and they offer superior service and we always get in and out. The food is consistently tastey and hits the spot when we are craving phở. A few of my co-workers favorites include: The Curry Chicken Phở, The Spicy Beef Phở, and the Vermicelli bowl. A typical lunch break goes something like this. We call ahead to place our order. They reserve a table for us and have it set waiting for us. Sometimes, if we time it just right, they bring the phở out right as we arrive. We’ll typically share a grilled pork banh mi or some spring rolls. Each of us will get our own bowl of pipping hot phở and leave with our stomachs full and a huge smile on our face.(If you are in a time crunch, I would seriously recommend calling ahead. You feel like a VIP when they have the table and food ready upon your arrival). So to sum up, good food, great service, and great prices!!!

It’s one of those places most Americans wouldn’t go to. Even in a pretty nice side of town, when you walk in its predominantly asian. Makes it a little hard to communicate with your waiter but good food brings people together. I’m the token black girl here, with red hair lol and I’m here with a big strong Ukrainian man. Lol perfect pair. We ordered two appetizers. One similar to an egg roll and the other spring rolls with pork. I also ordered the chicken and shrimp bowl with rice noodles and basil chicken. Everything we ordered was exceptional. Chicken and shrimp from both plates were moist. The pork in rolls was off the chain. I could really order those and be happy. The chicken basil, close to pad Thai, also was aaaamazing. Our waiter had the cutest since of humor. And she also aggressively told us what to order. Nothing wrong with that. Another thing I like about this place is that comfortable at home feeling. We sat at a table with other people. They instantly greeted us when we sat down. And literally to the right of us was a couple, who were really close to each us, but even though they were close it wasn’t an uncomfortable feeling. I really liked it here.

This is my first time trying Phở. And it’s delicious! The staff at the restaurant is wonderful. The food came out quickly. Everything tasted really fresh and wonderful! I tried the 3 appetizer sampler. The meatballs had just a hint of sweetness. The shrimp spring roll was very good with lettuce adding a crunch to go with the shrimp. And the egg roll was very good as well. I have no idea which sauce(peanut sauce and some sort of rice vinegar sauce) was meant for which appetizer. But that made it kind of a fun culinary adventure. For the Phở I ordered the P1. It was huge! I have 2 meals worth of leftovers. It is fun doctoring it to my own taste with the sprouts, lime, and cilantro. I really enjoyed my meal. I will absolutely eat here again before I go back home.

The broth is better than at some of the other places in the area… I am addicted to the curry phở. Sad to say it was so good that I have eaten there 3x in about 10 days… I love the fresh flavors and have tried a chicken vermicelli which was also very good. Large summer rolls with good peanut sauce. The Thai tea was ok… I am not the most qualified since my experience is limited to fat straws tho. This is a good place to enjoy a fresh meal, large portions, reasonable prices and certainly the staff warm up quickly to the customers.

Went here for lunch on recommendation from others. Walked in and sat down and spotted a orange spiced chicken that looked great another table. Asked the waitress who pointed me to the curry chicken, my guest got the shrimp phở soup. We started with shrimp spring rolls as well. The appetizer was amazing and the peanut sauce tasted home made, including chunks of peanut. We received our food and I was not disappointed. The plate also had grilled peppers, onions and mushrooms along with stemmed rice. We didn’t speak until both of us were finished and stuffed. I heard also they served boboa tea at the register which I quickly ordered to take with me. The whole meal was only $ 18! Such a steal and a great experience all around.

Love this place! I called in an order to go and the woman who answered was a bit hard to understand but very nice. The restaurant is located in a shopping center off 15th and independence. The restaurant itself is a decent size. It looks a bit older but decently clean. For two fried egg rolls and a large beef phở with extra beef my total came to $ 13. The egg rolls were ok. Not my favorite thing. The phở however was great! The broth had an amazing flavor! The beef was also perfect thin cuts! I would definitely return here for the phở! Great price for a good amount of food!

The best Phở Que Huong compared to all 4 Phở Que Huong that I’ve visited and by far the most friendly staff. Phở Que Huong is my standard for phở in the area. The flavor of the broth is good enough to satisfy my phở cravings. I think if they give it more flavor I would love it — that DEEP broth flavor. Some people may know what I mean by that. The price is perfect for the serving and you will always get lots of add ons(basil, lime, cilantro, sprouts…) This one serves Boba Tea! I love the big neon sign inside.

More like 2.5 stars. The service is great. The spring rolls are good. The phở isn’t bad. It just isn’t anything that’s great or memorable. It has a good balance of meat, noodles and broth. They give a decent amount of phở for a small size. But the broth itself isn’t the best I’ve had. It’s lacking the rich flavor that I expect from phở.

Your standard Vietnamese restaurant. The rice dishes are better here, phở is so so. Got the recommend combo phở and it was full of fatty meat and stomach. Not really a fan, should have ordered something different.

This place has been here for at least 15 years and I’m guessing because I’ve come here ever since I was growing up. Whenever I was sick, my mom would take me to this Phở after a visit to the doctor and it would always warm me up and make me feel better. You can stick to the phở but the vermicelli and rice dishes are just as good. Portion sizes have always been large and they haven’t upped their prices like other Vietnamese places have. I’ve tried their spring rolls which are good and have yet to try any of the drinks or the banh min. Or maybe I just don’t remember the deliciousness of the banh min from my younger days. I admit, the tables and chairs are not immaculate or up to date, but it has a hole-in-the-wall feel and taste. Between Taiwan Café, Jinmi, and Phở Que Huong, I would say Phở que huong wins out over taste and portion, Taiwan Café wins our over convenience and variety, and Jinmi for just being one of the few places you can get Korean food in Plano.

I come here like what 3 times every week. Cant go wrong with their phở. Aside from that, flat noodles N6 or N7 are beyond delicious. Their banh mi is also my boyfriend’s favorite. Their variety makes me come back again and again to try for more. The desert of boba Thai tea and milk tea is also pretty good. I would recommend suong sa hot luu, tasty. Price is actually really cheap. They so give me discount every time. The workers are all so nice they always remember me and even my name now. Makes me always feel welcome.

Like this one. Food is always fresh and you can’t go wrong with the item V2. My only issue was with the lady that answered. She had a hard time understanding me. Could have been my phone.
