The store owner is a clearly dishonest businessman by selling way expired products and then refusing to care about the customer’s satisfaction.
We will never return to this store after being scammed by this person.
Today I went in and bought 3 bottles of beer, the first two were fine but the third, Delirium Tremens, had noticeable large floaties in it, a beer we have bought many times before without said giant «fungal turds.» When we looked at the label the expiration clearly said 02/10, closing in on 3 years expired… Returning with the bottle I thought the owner would notice the problem and understand my dissatisfaction, OY, was I wrong!
After making excuses about TABC and «cameras all over the store» and then, «you and I both know beer doesn’t expire…» I asked him if he would do anything for me, all he could do was shake his head no. PATHETIC!
And I did this all on Shabbos! :(
