Plano Day School

I’ve been extremely impressed by the quality of Plano Day School’s educational programs and would definitely recommend their preschool /​kindergarten, after school /​day care, and summer program for parents looking for an academically enriching yet fun environment. From day one of my first visit, it was clear that the teachers are not only very experienced but also care a lot about their students. In addition to traditional subjects such as language arts classes for reading and writing, math, science, social studies, music, critical thinking, art, etc., they also offer computer skills and Chinese & Spanish lessons. There are also a lot of extracurricular courses to choose from, including ballet, tap, kung fu, piano lessons, basketball, chess, etc., as well as field trips. Definitely give them a call if you’re looking for a great place to send your kids. 5 stars for a fantastic program!

Sorry for the rating — this doesnt represent the school — its just the management of the primary section — MS Yu — She’s so unfit to be in the management — the most unpleasant person to interact with! Grows extremely defensive with each point raised — even if it is just positive feedback. Oops — sorry — you cannot give feedback — because she doesnt let you talk! lol. Great school, academically — worst school — management.

Great school/​program! The teachers and administrators here really care about the well-​being of the children in attendance, and they strive for a friendly and open environment. Lots of activities, both fun and educational, that are offered, and the curriculum is top-​notch! They also have an after school program for older kids (elementary school-​middle school) that I am familiar with, and it seems a lot of extracurricular activities are offered there as well. Highly recommend PDS as a facility!!!
