Precision Pavers

Hired them to install patio stones around my pool. Showed up with 8 people and by 12 o’clock there were 11 people on the site, among them a kid who could not be older then 15 years. Only foreman spoke English. Result is a deck that has so many faults that one does not know where to begin.
I wrote him a letter detailing all deficiencies and met with Bob for a 30 min. discussing ALL problems, which my wife also recorded. He agreed to fix (which actually would require removal of all stones and re-​installation). Showed up next day with a crew of 4 people, they patched it up a little bit and left. Most of the issues were not resolved.
Now he wants a payment for full amount and WILL NOT PROVIDE WARRANTY, although on the quote it says 5 years warranty. Seems like we are heading for a court, as I have not made any payments yet. Bob is arrogant, and will try to «educate» you if you contradict him. Boasts about his 30 years of experience, but he shows up for 5 min. on the site.
I would not recommend this company to anybody. Work is shoddy, substandard, and does not satisfy minimum of industry standards, such as that water should drain away from the pool, and not into the pool.
I have set up some videos on youtube and on Photobucket for others to see the jewels of his company’s work.

A neighbor recommended Bob to me for widening my driveway. She had hers done and at several years old it still looks great.
They were so professional. Had it done in one day and cleaned up. I would totally refer them to a friend

We recently had our lumber retaining wall replaced with a stone retaining wall by Precision Pavers and could not be happier with the results and the level of service that we received.
Precision Pavers took care of all of the demolition of the old wall, haul off, construction of the new wall, and even cleanup every single day. From having Bob come out for the initial estimate, emailing with Katie at the Plano office about the specifics, picking out the stone one weekend, and getting the job scheduled and completed, the communication and service we received was above and beyond the call of duty.
When you couple the amazing wall we received (we’ve already been approached at least 20 times for referrals) with the very competitive pricing and warranty on the stone, there is no way we could have chosen a better contractor to go with.

I hired Bob and his team to demolish concrete and install pavers on my patio. Price was fair — not the cheapest, but very competitive. I left town the day they started the job, and came back to a beautiful finished product. They workers left a very clean job site, and the installation job is really outstanding. I can honestly say I’m happier with the end result than expected. Their design/​finish looks even better than what I had in mind! Service was really good, too. We went back and forth on materials a couple of times before we made our decision, and they quoted prices and provided samples to help us make the right decision. Really good people…

Precision Pavers did a wonderful job creating a patio space for us that looks tailor made for our backyard. We have a tree in the middle of our yard that we didn’t want to remove, however, we were afraid that any patio we put in would be affected by the root system. Someone suggested pavers as a way to avoid future cracks in a patio that could necessitate the entire patio needing to be replaced. Bob at Precision Pavers was recommended. He and his crew did an outstanding job and created that looked even better than I imagined. The bulk of the job was completed in one day and after a couple of days of rain, they came out and completed the remainder of the work. We are very pleased with the product and service, and would recommend Precision Pavers.

The creativity, pr vision and professionalism of these guys is outstanding. We’ve had them do two major projects, and things could not have been better.
In the most recent, they installed a retaining wall and graded the rear of a new building to protect against rain flooding. They put in a paver entrance, two driveways, a rain curb and a large landing pad for trailer and Mule. They were adaptable, efficient, speedy and worked to high standards.

I was impressed by the job that Precision Pavers did on my patio. It looks beautiful. The patio was completed in one day. There was a problem with the sprinkler system. I called Precision Pavers Saturday morning and someone came out that day and resolved the problem. I would definitely recommend this company.

We worked with Bob and couldn’t be happier.
Our first experience was April of 2009, we wanted to expand our patio and looked in all the various solutions (primarily decks and concrete slab w/​finish) when we thought about paving.
Well this turned out to be a very economical route and it turned out just great. Fast (one day), efficient… the extended patio looked (looks) great.
Fast forward to Feb 2011. We decided to extended the patio even further due to a home addition. They were able to add on the first extension in a seamless manner. Again the price was quite reasonable and they were fast and friendly once again.
Lastly… unrelated to the paving, we had an issue with our sprinkler system that required the removal of some of the pave stones to gain access under a concrete slab… the precision pavers crew came out and replaced the stones for a very reasonable price.
Our experience, on three different occasions, has been just great and I definitely recommend these folks.

I have had very mixed results working with this company.
I originally had them install a patio in 2007 and then a walkway in 2008. Total spent was over $ 15,000. For the patio, they originally did a wonderful job. We just loved it, absolutely beautiful. During the original installation there were a few problems like cutting the buried phone line to the house and breaking a pipe for the sprinkler system, but those were taken care of free of charge.
But then when the paver stones started to develop holes it became clear that they were defective. After a few months they tore up the entire patio and replaced it free of charge. The first time they did a great job and were meticulous in their detail, making sure everything was level and overall doing a very professional job. The second time it was clear that they simply wanted to get the job over with and so no leveling was done; as a consequence we have «waves» in the patio. Some may be due to settling, but the sand and gravel were supposed to minimize that.
For the walkway they did a great job first time and I have no complaints, although the price went up 40% in one year so I wondered about that.
My main complaint is how hard it is to get service after the sale. Each spring I have to get them to come out and replace the pavers that have holes in them. This year I have pavers with holes, an area that is sinking because there is no sand under the bricks, and one place where the sprinkler pipe is ruptured under the walkway. I am guessing they cracked the pipe during installation and it took some time for the crack to develop into a break. My frustration is that they take so long to come out for repairs. Weeks and weeks and weeks of constantly emailing and calling. It is very frustrating. Last Friday I had an «appointment» with an all day window. I sat home the whole day and they never showed. Did not show on Saturday. Monday the workers have off. They did not show on Tuesday, as I write this. Ridiculous.
The bottom line is that they give you lot of attention and love prior to the sale but then getting them to service you after the sale is incredibly difficulty, and for that reason I am giving them two stars.
