I haven’t been using Unilocal very long, but I’ve found it very useful in deciding whether or not to try a new restaurant or business. I’ve enjoyed reading reviews and spend quite a bit of time checking places that are my favorites to see what others have to say about them. Tonight when I checked out Unilocal reviews for my favorite Chiropractor, I was shocked by the caustic review posted by an unhappy woman, who, from my observation, must be a pretty unhappy individual in general to try to tarnish the reputation of an excellent chiropractor and his office on the basis of only a few visits. Maybe the pregnancy hormones were to blame! It’s not easy to find a chiropractor who is a good fit for each person, and I’ve been treated by a dozen or so in my 60+ years. When I moved back to the Dallas area in 2011 and needed to find someone who could keep my spine aligned and back spasms to a minimum, I heard of Dr. Rider and was impressed by his offer to donate the cost of the initial visit and ex rays to a Veterans’ organization. He asked that my husband accompany me for the report of findings after my X-rays and thermal scan. I didn’t have a problem with that because I knew that I have a couple of problem areas in my spine, and that there would be a plan for treatment and costs to consider. Why wouldn’t I want my husband and best friend to be involved in decisions about my healthcare? We were both very impressed with the time that Dr. Rider took to explain the way that the human body is put together and the part that the nervous system plays in our health and ability to function. I especially liked hearing about his own journey, giving up a career in mechanical engineering to learn everything that he could about human mechanics after receiving chiropractic care himself and avoiding surgery after a debilitating injury. That is the passion that Dr. Rider has to share with his many satisfied patients! I also appreciate that he asked me, in the beginning, what I like and don’t like about my experience with chiropractors. That was easy. I hate to be handed a clipboard when I walk in, asking me to rate my pain from 1 to 10, and spending an entire lunch hour waiting and being adjusted. Thanks to his state of the art equipment and pre-paid swipe card, I can be in and out of Rider Chiropractic in ten or fifteen minutes, except for occasional thermal scans by Lisa so that Dr. Rider can see my progress, and areas that need work. Thanks to Rider Chiropractic, I’m feeling better overall than I have in years, have taken off some extra pounds, and have stopped needing Advil, Tylenol, and blood pressure meds. I always feel that Lisa and Dr. Rider take a genuine interest in me and my family. I would gladly recommend them to anyone!
