Absolutely terrible! No one was there to ring up orders until 11:15. They open at 11:00. I ordered the sesame beef. The beef was so chewy that I ended up just eating the broccoli out of it. I did eat a little of the beef. Some of the pieces tasted funny. The sauce didn’t have much flavor. It was more salty than anything. I normally eat at the Royal Chopstix on Jupiter. I have never had a problem at that one. I won’t be eating at this location again.

Went for lunch today, and had the shrimp fried rice, was not too good. Shrimp taste like they were reheated and not fresh. Had gone once before for lunch and it was better.

Decided to see if this location was just as good as the location in Irving… and sure enough it was! This time we ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Broccoli Beef, Vegetable Egg Roll, and Wonton Soup(there were four of us)! But the food was awesome! Defiantly will become a go-to for Chinese food!

Good place for cheap lunch, egg rolls decent price and fresh flavor… spice right on the mark. Decent clean seating. Fast and friendly service. Only caveat, the Chinese staff speak chinese around you and to me, that shows signs of poor manners(unless BC. the staff can’t speak English). Customary to speak the language your around. It’s like whispering to someone. Other than that a good place and I recommend.

If you’re cheap minded. Don’t visit here. The food is OK but they charge extra for extra rice. What a waste. I mean the quantity of entrée they give is more than the required rice. They give so little rice, and they’re too stingy to give a bowl of extra rice. I visited like 5 times before, but if I plan to go again I’m either just gonna get the noodles or fried rice instead.

I have tried this place a couple times over the last year and a half, based on the other good reviews. I have yet to be impressed and it hasn’t lived up to the other reviews. Food is hot and fast but is bland or has a funky taste. The lo mien and fried rice are bland and greasy. The seafood is fishy and old. I keep trying hoping maybe they are having an off day, but I give up and will keep looking for a great Chinese restaurant in the area.

Snow day in Plano and nothing was open. Thankfully this place was open and we were very pleased that it was. The food was and selection was great! Didn’t blow me out of the water to achieve 5 stars but I would definitely recommend this place.

The food here is very good and a very good value. I eaten at the restaurant and have also phoned ahead to order before I arrive. Phoning ahead is easy and has always worked smoothly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is while I would not say that the restaurant is unsanitary, I would not say that it is extremely clean either. There are scuff marks along the bottom of the wall for example. But overall, I am happy with Royal Chopstix.

This place is pretty tasty! Best place I’ve been to in Plano! The staff is pretty knowledgeable, polite, & helpful. The Flat Noodle dishes are simply worth driving there for alone too bad they don’t deliver.

This is my wife’s favorite place to go when it comes to getting her chicken lo mein fix. The portions are huge so we are usually able to share that and I order a small egg drop soup on the side. I enjoy the combination fried rice. We have really just stuck to that so far but I would like to explore other options next time. They usually don’t have siracha sauce out in the open but if you ask for some they have a bottle.

I love this chain but this location is not nearly as good as all the others. The egg drop soup was very watery & had a strange taste. The shrimp spring rolls were primarily lettuce with a few shrimp. The peanut sauce was watery with no flavor. The Kung pao chicken was as good as expected but cashew chicken didn’t have much taste.

I use to come here all the time when I was younger and my parents were too lazy to cook(which was a lot). I always got their Kung Pao Chicken. That never fails me. I’m sure other items on the menu are good as well but that was my go to thing! The lady that runs the place was always so nice too!

nothign exciting and decent for a quick chinese fix. not gonna lie though, not sure why you’re not looking at panda express across the street. 2 words: orange chicken also when they say fried rice that accompanies the entrees, its just brown looking rice.

I love this place!!! I love the chicken flat noddle and I always ask to make it as spicy as they can. Their fried rice is also very good. Don’t get me wrong, not everything is good on the menu, there are a few other things I tried that wasn’t very good. But I always come back for the same thing. So just tried it!!!

Ordered cashew chicken and an eggroll for takeout. It was okay at best. I will say I’m pretty picky of my cashew chicken entrees though. Overall i would say that the entrée was too lacking in cashew nuts. For the portions you get, the price is pretty decent though and that’s one of the few reasons I gave it 3 stars instead of 2. The staff was less than motivated in every aspect. I felt I was trying harder to be courteous and forthcoming than the staff. Might’ve caught them at a sleepy hour or something. Sunday lunch hehe.

I have come to this place 3 – 4 times but only because I live next door. Some of the items are ok but Tofu sucks big time. Their Kung Pao is too watery and is not the best one out there by any means. The ambiance is good and the dishes they serve in are pretty unique and amazing. It is ok for a quick stop but if you are craving real chinese, I would go elsewhere.
