Food was very good, thoroughly enjoyed. Chips were thin, light and crispy and the salsa was thick… Would totally go back. Only issue was the staff spoke NO english so it made things a little difficult but was worth it!

One of my favorite taco places to go. Salsas are pretty hot, but flavorful. Meat is always cooked well and homemade corn tortillas are always fresh and good. Great staff and people, always friendly.

Really good tacos that come with a unique side of spicy potatoes. Tortas and other dishes that I have seen ordered have also looked good. Guacamole is good. If you dine in, you even get some chips and salsa that taste authentic compared to the ones you get at your typical tex-mex restaurant. Service is on point and prices are cheap. This place deserves more recognition.

Service was poor, Food was mediocre. They left out food and refused to refund the amount back to the card. Told me I could drive back.

Biggest damn tortas you’ll find around Plano! And delicious! Also had the guisado de puerco. Huge corn tortilllas, rice, beans… It was my first time here and I had to come back THENEXTMORNING to try the breakfast. Had the huevos rancheros and tortilla soup. Also really good. If you live anywhere around North Dallas it’s worth stopping by

I lived in LA for awhile, and LA has some awesome taco spots, and I do think the tacos here could possibly compete with some LA establishments. They serve corn tortillas, lots of cilantro, and tacos are not overloaded with cheese like a lot of the Tex Mex you get in Dallas. I tried a few of their tacos, and the chicken and beef were just meh, but the lengua was awesome! FYI they did not have a fish taco, boooo. I tried the horchata, and it was good but not so amazing that I would feel compelled to come back for it. I took my order to go, but they do have seating if you want to eat in the restaurant. Oh and they have a really cheap lunch special for around $ 6 if you’re in the area.

Oh this place is phenomenal!!! I know I’m Asian but I know mexican food pretty good. I grew up with a Mexican step mother who cooked endlessly to fill my tummy. This is your neighborhood hole in the wall authentic Mexican food restaurant. My girlfriend got the three taco special with fajita, chicken and barbacoa meat. She literally cleaned her plate. I got the burrito plate with fajita meat. I tore into that thing. We WILL be coming back!

Lots of gristle in the meat. Did not finish my meal. The seating was worn out and cracked. Overall I won’t be returning.

Went here with my boys tonight for the first time. Chips and salsa were good to start while we waiting. We ordered a small Chorqueso and it was really excellent. After that I had three pastor, a fajita, and a barbacoa taco. I got them all on flour tortillas. The tortillas we good but a little bit soft for my taste. Still excellent though. The pastor and fajitas tacos were good but man the barbacoa blew them out of the water. Definitely will be getting more of those bad boys. The green hot sauce was excellent and the red one was really spicy. My oldest son ordered the burrito chorizo and the thing was giant. He ate half and declared it yummy. My youngest ordered the cheeseburger which must’ve been good because he ate it all. Overall a really good place for good mex. I definitely recommend getting chorqueso and some barbacoa tacos if you go.

This place is great. The gorditas are amazing. The huarache was very good. Tacos very good as well. I will probably try something else next time but certainly get at least one gordita. It’s kind of hidden and you aren’t going to stumble across it but well worth discovering.

5 star horchata. 4 star food. 1 star for getting charged more than what I ordered almost every time I go here. Some items prices aren’t listed on the menu and when I ask about what each item costs the price seems to change from visit to visit… funny. Sometimes math doesn’t add up and when I point that out and do the math in front of them on my receipt they just shrug and aren’t sure how an extra dollar or two just happened to be added to my bill. Great food and drinks, just make sure you know what you’re paying for and double-check your bill.

Firstime here came with a big group from work, so it was a mixed review for us all, first thing to remember this a Mexican restaurant NOTTEXMEX, so do not ask for chili con carne or cheese sauce as they will look at you and wonder what you want. I had the Mixed grill Beef, chicken and shrimp fajitas, in house made corn tortillas, beans, salad. The Beef and Chicken fajitas were dry and tough, good taste and minimal seasoned, the shrimp were surprisingly very delicious, just an OK experience, I did not like the salsa they give with the chips, very tart flavour. The location inside seemed clean and nice, no over the wall Mexican curios. May have to give them another chance, as some of the other plates I saw, looked tasty. Also Samsung Pay worked here.

I had been wanting to try this place out for a while. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. The tacos are awesome and so is the green salsa they serve with it. The fajitas(we got combo beef and chicken) were ok. They would have been excellent but the beef had a taste that I didn’t like. The chicken was excellent. They had a kids menu which was great. They have the BEST horchata in Plano. I would frequent this establishment just for this drink. I will definitely be back to try out different menu items. Do yourself a favor, if you are in the area or simply want to take a road trip to Plano this is a must stop.

I’m originally from Los Angeles, CA. now living in Oklahoma City and visiting Texas, I look on Unilocal for the best Taco’s and Taqueria Los Angeles had 4 to 5 ratings. I ordered 3 taco’s; 1 Pastor(pork), 2 Barbacoa(beef cheek). Excellent, they reminded me of the taqueria’s in Los Angeles. My husband order the California burrito, the beans in the burrito had the best flavor ever. They have 2 bottles of hot sauce, the Red is very tasty and hot, the green was my favorite, it was creamy and kind a tasted like avocado and was very hot, but kept adding more to my tacos. This restaurant is a must. It’s in a strip mall, a little hard to find, but well worth it.

I have been here several times now. It’s kind of hard to find, hidden behind a Chinese restaurant in a small shopping center. The star here is the great Mexican food. I have tried the Chicken Torta, a great bargain. Fresh bread stuffed with all the goodies. I also really love their burritos, also filled freshness. Try the red and the green bottled sauces, but, beware! They are HOT, especially the red. Service is good, ladies are nice. If you like a little adventure with your food, I highly recommend this place.

Food — 4.5 stars(5 stars if you really really really like spicy spicy spicy food) Service — 5 stars Value — 5 stars We came here today craving some Mexican food. I got the barbacoa torta and my wife got 2 tacos(al pastor and pork skin). The torta bread was soft and soaked up the juices from the barbacoa nicely — I would definitely order it again. The al pastor taco was a tad on the dry side and the sauces were quite spicy. And the potatoes that came with taco left my wife wondering if it was overseasoned with too much spiciness. We are looking forward to coming back and trying other items from the menu. Note: It is a little warm in there so if you get warm easily, you may want to wait until fall/winter to go there(or get the food to go).

Local family owned taqueria tucked away behind a Chinese restaurant. It was a bit hard to find unless you know the neighborhood. I used to live in this area, so when a Unilocaler said it was behind this restaurant, I knew where it is. We started off with chips and salsa. Chips isn’t really fresh but the salsa tasted really good. Next, we ordered a couple of Mexican cokes and tacos lots and lots of tacos. We had; beef, tongue, tripe, barbacoa and chicharon. Everything is cooked well and flavorful. Be careful with the red sauce, it was very spice for a person who really like spicy. Try a little bit if it first before pouring it on you tacos. This placed would be my alternative if driving to east dallas(my fave taqueria) is not an option.

I remember getting a brochure at my door for this place like a year ago and I finally went for my first time and idk why it took me so long bc let me just say this is hands down the best place to get Mexican food in plano!(Insert taco emoji here, if it existed) So You get chips and salsa to start off with and they were good What I had: tacos, a hurache and horchata The bf had tacos and menudo(the menudo was delish btw) The tortillas are freshly made here so that’s an A+. And the pastor meat is soo good and that’s coming from someone that never chooses pastor as their first option for antojitos and such(so that says something alright) The huarache was good and fulfilling but tbh it’s kind of weird seeing so much green from the romaine lettuce on top of it(as romaine isn’t the typical lettuce I’m used to seeing for my Mexican topping fixings, it’s usually iceberg but it’s ok I’ll survive). I would like to mention though that I ate my hurache with my hands and not fork bc I would like to think my dad would be proud of me for that :) but oh my word, it was a mess bc this establishment has those very THIN small napkins that don’t work for anything, so perhaps next time I shall bring my own paper towels/napkins bc «I cant even» lol with those napkins. The Horchata was eh, it was very very white and nothing settled down at the bottom of my cup for me to stir like other horchatas iv had in my life time so it made me question their recipe/method of making it but to each their own with how you make it but I just know that next time I’ll skip out on it Also I would like to say beware of the red salsa as it is very very spicy and a little goes a looong way. So yeah that concludes my review for this yummy place that you should try if you haven’t already, and as for next time I’m going for the torta just incase anyone was wondering (btw sorry for it being so long)

Went Saturday. Place was not crowded. Restaurant and bathrooms very clean. Chips and salsa are excellent. Chips were very crispy and not greasy at all. Salsa is nice and thick(not too thick) with a great spiciness to it. The taco sauces on the table were very good. The Lighter one has a good kick in the end of the flavor. The red taco sauce is very very good and quite spicy! We ordered a variety of Street Tacos Tacos come with onion and cilantro unless you specify differently. Pollo — Excellent, crispy on the outside! Yum! Barbacoa — Excellent flavor and not greasy. Steak — Excellent crispy on the outside! Yum! Pastor — Excellent! Will be back!
