I went to see Dr. Jehan after I was involved in a car accident and my neck was hurting me a week after the accident. She was very nice and caring. The whole clinic staff was pleasant, expecially her medical assistant. Also back in 2014 I went to Texas Back Institute physical therapy after a had ACL and MCL surgery, Ngozi was my therapist! She is simply the best! She is very knowledgeable and caring. I was back on my feet in no time!

I went to TBI because it was part of my insurance plan. I am in my early 40s and exercise regularly(5x week). One morning I work up with a shooting sciatica pain down my leg. I was unable to stand or sit longer than 15 minutes, waking was a hardship, and driving a car was downright dangerous. After unsuccessful chiropractic care, I went to TBI and saw Dr. Jehan. She is absolutely lovely and personable. After an MRI she discovered the issue and she proscribed treatment that was least invasive(which is important to her and me). She gave me a steroid pack, anti inflammatories(I told her I was popping Aleve pills like crazy by that point). She recommended that I go to the TBI Physical Therapy down the hall so they can try to realign me, teach me how to exercise without aggravating the problem, and to help heal the problem. I was skeptical about their PT program because I had read several negative reviews. After discovering that their PT is the only one in the area that accepts my insurance(don’t ask; this is another saga), I made an appt and was assigned to therapist Christa Ordonez. Christa turned out to be highly knowledgeable, an active listener, and a pro at her craft. Between Dr. Jehan and Christa, I have made magnificent progress over the past 6 weeks. I was a broken lady when I first saw them and together they are simply amazing. I am back at the gym and no longer taking any meds(save an Advil after a workout once in a while; turns out my problem is chronic). I am sleeping well at night again, drug-free. I really didn’t think this was possible. I continue to make progress. My goal is to be able to once again run half marathons and to take bootcamp classes. I am optimistic that I can get back to my old workout schedule. The takeaway is that these two ladies have given me my life back. I cannot speak about anyone else in the office except to say that they all seem very nice. It is, after all, a large medical office and with that come challenges regarding billing and scheduling. But these two ladies get my vote.

Dr Bosita helped me get my back to where I wasn’t hurting anymore by using very conservative treatment. I was out playing with my grandkids at the park again yesterday.

Physical therapy clinic that is apart of the Texas back system is awful. They didn’t tell me I would be seeing my normal physical therapist until I was there and they brought be back to the treatment area and put me on the table. The guy, Jason, that I got asked me three times if I ever have pain and troubles on my right side. I repeated nope three time clearly and loud. He said some crap about it may be the the right side and proceeded to do questionable manipulation on my right side where he position. My right leg knee and hip and bad positions and applied a strong force. Now I have very bad right hip and knee problem that make my knee very unstable and pops often. I also have a limp on that side. I called my normal therapist and all she could say is sorry hope it gets better. I will bring this to the directors attention and if the knee doctor finds something that requires treatment I will seek reimbursement for injuring me instead of helping me. Oh and that originally reason I went there, I still have that terrible ache and nerve pain on the left side of back/hip and leg. Update, I can’t a bill from them and I saw them complete payment schedule. The prices they charge are completely BS. They are literally more than double other better physical therapy clinics that have therapists with more education and experience than the bad therapists here. They charge you twice for manual therapy that is terrible and is less than 5 minutes. They charge you separately for stretches and exercises. I have been to a lot of other psychical therapy clinics and the others have never ever done this. They charged you for exercises and stretches as one. No wonder the prices are so damn high at Texas back. Avoid like the plague. If you need a really good physical therapy clinic recommendation message me and I will tell you the best place in Plano with some amazing therapists with loads of experience and education and they literally charge more than half the price. Summary: if you want to pay to get injured go to Texas back institute rehab. There are much better rehabilitation Clinics in the area. You don’t have to go there, the Texas back doctors say it’s better to go there but they just tell you that because it’s more money in their pocket. If you want to spend less but get better care, go to another physical therapy clinic. Message me for recommendations to other ones.

Staff is very rude and unprofessional. DR. EFFATJEHAN has a very attitude towards her patients. Her visit with patient with very quick. She is only after making money. She does not care for patients health or concerns. She even hung up the phone. How unprofessional can a doctor be. We are booing to address this issue with the board of physicians also.
