Patty is an artist! I arrived early for my consultation. She listened to me try to explain my vision, then she started making suggestions. We decided on the plan and she said we could do it that night since I was just days from my daughter’s wedding day. Patty worked late into the evening to give me fabulously natural looking color and highlights. This proud MOB will be standing next to her daughter for pictures with awesome hair. Thanks, Patty!

She knows what hairstyle will work on me based upon the shape of my face, and the texture of my hair… and she never hesitates to tell me what will not work! I love that about her! I’ve been a client of Patty’s for, I believe, going on 9 years… Because humidity season is here, Patty just did a 5 month Keratin straightening treatment… I couldn’t be more excited! Patty at True Color Salon has been coloring, cutting, and styling my hair for about 5 years. She’s a miracle worker! When I first met her, my hair was in terrible shape. It sucked up color quickly then faded entirely too fast. It was brittle, faded, and just plain sad. Early on she worked with me to find the right salon treatments and home products to help with the repair. Today, my hair is in great shape and I love the color. I’ve always been impressed by her diligence in finding solutions. She’s meticulous in her efforts to ensure not only beautiful hair but healthy hair as well. She’s wonderful with styling — she even indulges my fondness for 1940s and 1950s hairstyles by researching how to create them. Coming from a toney area in CA, I thought I should go to a Highland Park salon for my first TX cut, but thought I would go more local in Plano. As a professional male, I care about my hair (especially since graying and thinning) and was nervous. End result, my colleagues commented on my nice cut and my confidante’ female colleague said the color was well done. Don’t expect a chic setting, but do expect a nice technically correct job.
