Too expensive. Salads bad, dressing too warm for me to trust. Peppers & onions just barely ok, I ate about a third of it & threw the rest out. Pizza not at all appetizing. I’ll never do business with them again.

Found this place through Unilocal and I am glad I did. I ordered half a lasagna and half sausage, potato, and rosemary pizza. Both were very good. The flavor of both were fantastic. You could taste the spices and herbs used. Major points for that since you know that doesn’t come from a can. The crust was crisp and crunchy and somehow chewy as well. Perhaps one of the best pizza crusts I have had. It wasn’t very thick and wasn’t to thin. The family running the place was very nice and really take pride in what they make. I was happy to help support this local pizza gem hidden away in the shopping center. Overall if your looking for great pizza with real fresh ingredients and leaps and bounds better quality than any chain pizza check this place out. You wont be disappointed.

My husband and I came here after driving by and got half potato sausage and rosemary, and half lasagna pizza. We also got an order of potato skins. Everything was good! Fresh ingredients, came out hot, and different then any pizza you can get in the area. They were also very friendly. We would definetly recommend this place.

Great food, great service! Their Lasagna & Greek Salad are top notch. You get loads of garlic bread. One of the best Halal Italian restaurants in the DFW area!

I was hoping to make this place my regular for pizza since I live so close by. But sadly I’m just going to stick to the chain pizza until I find something better. I ordered a large pizza half cheese and half sausage with a house salad. I called my order in and picked it up on the way home. I didn’t check the pizza until I got home. I was a bit taken back at how dark the pizza was. I tried to still shrug it off and enjoy it but I felt guilty wasting my calories on subpar pizza. I enjoy eating pizza crust with ranch but found the crust to be really hard. The cheese was dark and didn’t have that stringy effect. At least the flavor was decent. The salad was okay, the greens were fresh and the dressing that came with it was a vinaigrette which I wish had more flavor. I wouldn’t have mind giving it one more try but fiancé said to just stick with Costco pizza from now on.

The only Italian place in an Asian strip in East Plano. The last time I ate at this spot is when it was still Café Roma and I remember having to dab my pizza a few times. The reason I’m a little hesitant to go back since it changed. We started off with Italian Hummus, focaccia bread, and some Greek salad. Their hummus is very creamy and delicious, focaccia bread is fresh and so is the Greek salad with chunks of feta cheese. Then, we moved on to the pies. Their pizza is NY style and Thats my favorite kind. We had Rosemary Potato and Sausage Pizza, Fig and Gorgonzola with arugula pizza, Pesto Pizza, Lasagna Pizza, and another one which i forgot the name and didn’t get to try because I’m starting to get full. All pizza I’ve tried was really good. The ingredients complemented each other and the crust is just. I like it thin but not very thin(if that makes sense?) My favorite is the Fig pizza and second fave is the potato and sausage pizza. We capped our dinner with Seadas, it’s a Sardinian sweet ravioli. At this point I’m very full, if not I could devour another piece of it. I will definitely comeback to this place for some good by style pizza

We went on a Saturday night and ate in. Shared a caesar salad and a lasagne pizza. The salad was typical but the dressing seemed like store bought caesar. The lasagna pizza looked nice and the crust was very good. However, it tasted more like cheeseburger pizza than lasagne to me.

The place is under new owner I walked in an first thing I noticed was a leak in the sealing. I placed an order on line went there 20 minutes after doing so and still waited 30+ minutes for my pizzas. While hanging me the pizzas I get told«there were deliveries that needed to go out» About the pizza When you get a pizza from here you will wonder where the crust is it is there they just put so much sauce that it becomes mushy. The Margharita Pizza had no basil or or tomato just a lot of sauce. The eggplant pizza was average.

I ordered the fettuccine bolognese, and it was sub-par. I ordered a side of Alfredo sauce and it was the consistency of milk, and tasted about the same. The tiramisu was frozen, and tasted like freezer burn. The garlic bread was 10⁄10. The pizza reviews are decent so if you must eat here I recommend sticking with that, because the pasta and desserts are a joke.

Best pizza I’ve had in a while. Love the unique(to Dallas) pizzas. The fig and gargonzola was outstanding and I’m not a fan of figs. My other favorite was the arugula, goat cheese and pesto. The pesto was not overwhelming, but a perfect complement to the other ingredients. I wasn’t as much a fan of the potato and sausage, but it’s a matter of taste, just a bit too dry for me. The lasagne pizza had a good flavor also, and not as heavy as it sounds. The crust was perfectly thin and the greek salad excellent along with the focacia ! I want to go back for mozzarella and basil. The dessert ravioli was also excellent.

A little hidden gem in the china town of Plano. Small quaint pizza place with great flavor and true New York style. Many options to choose from as well as off menu options make sure you ask! Salad has top quality fresh ingredients as well as the pizzas which make the difference and slap you in the mouth with flavor. Goat cheese arugula greatness was one of my favorites. Lasagna was a close second but everything I have tried was yummy to my tummy! Not a fancy place just homey with tv’s and smiles from the service. Try something new and local from an owner with true Italian flavors in mind.

Finally a place in DFW with delicious NY Style pizza! The crust is perfect, not too thick, but not super thin, and I love how they think outside of the box. The menu is diverse from the Greek Salad to Potato skins. If you are an east coaster, this is exactly what«pizza shops» do. I tried the potato Rosemary sausage pizza, as well as a pesto pizza. Both were extremely delicious. They put flavors together that are outside of the box. The fig and Gorgonzola pizza was also delicious. The ingredients are top quality, and the service is beyond friendly. They use olive oil, fresh greens, and have something for everyone.

You have to hand it to a place that ends up being the only non-Asian place in this part of Plano; the entire strip mall is Asian-based businesses. These guys have it going on. Heard about Alessio’s UYE and got hungry to try so we went last weekend. The place has a nice, informal vibe; you order at the counter. The guy who helped us was friendly and gave us some good suggestions. I read the reviews about how this is NY style pizza so we got the Grandma pizza and two salads. Greens were fresh and crisp and there was that tomato herb vinaigrette I’d forgotten how much I love. The pizza itself was fresh, hot and had a nice chew to the crust. The Giant thoroughly enjoyed his slices, folding them just so and using the border crust to sop up the juice that dripped out. The cheese was delish and I always love basil. For me, I’d have liked a bit more of the sauce and I always prefer toppings be wall to wall, but overall, this was a pretty tasty experience. We will absolutely be back.

Ok. I’ll gladly admit it. I was skeptical about this place. I came here specifically because Alessio told me to, and when we walked in we were freaked out because at 7 pm on a Saturday night the place was completely empty. There’s also a weird vibe here because you can’t tell who is hanging out and who works here. There was a guy up front who stood around the entire time and we have no clue what his role is to be honest. The lady that worked the register was friendly enough. We ordered an appetizer of Italian tater skins, a Grandma pizza and a chicken parm sub. The service was SLOOOOOWWW. It took 25 minutes for the appetizer to come out. You get three skins to an order, which felt off. It felt like it was missing a skin, as it would be easier to share with an even number. I’m not sure what made these Italian; they were filled with a little cheese. They were good, don’t get me wrong, but definitely not worth it. The Grandma pizza was totally the star here. The crust is light and crispy yet still with a good chew. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Big D, right up there with Serious Pizza. I’m not lying. The fresh strips of herb on the top make this pizza pop. It was fresh and tasty. Manchild ordered the sub and he RAVED about it. We used a certificate for $ 15 off $ 30, so our bill was $ 17 something. I’d pay full price here any day though. It was worth every penny. Next time I intend to try some of the pasta offerings AND another Grandma pizza. Thanks Alessio!

Went by for lunch and had the sausage pizza. The joint was empty and service lacking. Pizza not bad, not good, typical Joes type pizza.

Delicious pizza, great quality. I was curious about trying something new and got the caprese pizza, seeing as I am a big fan of caprese. It was tasty but I’ve decided I like the two separate. Next time I want pizza, I’ll try the grandma’s pizza. The pizza was tasty, and I could tell they use quality ingredients. I’m a big fan of crust and this one didn’t disappoint. Also, the presentation was beautiful, with the way they drizzled the sauce over it. The tomatoes were done so well and had the perfect texture. I haven’t had quality pizza like this in Texas, ever. Ready for more great experiences. Edit: I ordered from here yesterday again. Thank the gods that I have come across a pizza place with great pasta. I was beginning to lose hope. I have a giant sweet spot for ricotta so I got the manicotti. So good, and even the ingredients in their pasta tasted fresh. When you eat their food, you can just tell it was created by someone who really takes their food and name seriously. It was seasoned so well. I am amazed. Most pizza places with pasta think pasta shouldn’t have flavor. Not this place. Their garlic bread was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it and had to take a brief break so I wouldn’t be overly full before I dug into the manicotti. And their Greek Salad? My giant appreciation for a restaurant that knows how to make a great salad began when I was a vegetarian for almost two years. It’ll shock you to see just how many restaurants think a salad consists of wilting lettuce and Caesar dressing. This Greek salad, however, was so good that I am considering buying it more when I am out for lunch and have a hankering for a good salad. They even gave me a generous serving of it.

Food was very good, not sure marinara is as tangy as before but still tasty… Will have again to double check this! The service was slow, granted our call ahead order was large, said 30 minutes then my husband had to wait a while making it close to an hour. The Eggplant was a bit chewy not as good as before but could be a seasonal thing. Chicken Parmesan was excellent and the family size was an excellent deal! Spaghetti and meatballs were good, maybe lacking a bit of seasoning on the meatballs. Still much better than chain italian in almost every way! Will definitely be back!

Excellent food that happens to be halal too. I have tried the buffalo chicken wings, chicken parmesan and the all meat pizza, all of them have been great. Highly recommend!

Went here again for a lunch special. The two slices of cheese pizza were over cooked and not very good. Will give them another chance, maybe today was an off day.

Beautiful remodel. Best Eggplant Rollitini in area. Pizza is very good. Chicken Parm is super. Service is snappy. Give this place a try again. Was Roma’s for 30 years and owner of Roma’s still there helping withbthe transition.
