Zippy Shell

Moved from California to Texas and after looking around at various storage/​moving options decided to go with Zippy Shell. We had 2 storage containers, one was a 15 foot for furniture and a smaller 10 foot for boxes, personal items etc.
I loaded the 10 footer myself and we had Zippy Shell send over movers to load furniture into the 15 foot container, here’s where the problems started.
The movers arrived late, very late, as in they were loading in the dark. This wouldn’t be such a problem but me and my wife were driving across country and had a hotel several hours away booked for the night. They had 4 guys loading and seemed to go as slow as possible. On top of that they kept disassembling furniture claiming it wouldn’t fit onto the trailer, all at our expense.
Eventually they were done and we moved cross country, a month later we had found somewhere to live so it was time to get everything out of storage.
The 10 footer was fine if a little dusty and the removal guys did a great job unloading the 15 footer, however we noticed that a lot of our furniture had been damaged or broken. Our dining table had a huge scratch in it, 2 of our lamps were broken and a tv stand was broken beyond repair and missing parts to it. We purchased insurance through Zippy Shell and thought nothing of it, we will just call and make a claim.
Well turns out the insurance was a waste of time and money as the lady on the phone working for Zippy Shell rudely told us that their insurance only covers catastrophic occurrences such as floods or fires, so basically a giant middle finger to their customers.
I would honestly never use Zippy Shell or recommend them to anyone, this whole experience has soured me on them and I would honestly just go with a regular moving company or some other storage company in the future.
