We had a leak from the kitchen sink — Ron from better life was on location in less than 30 minutes. He put machines to dry the space and check for the humidity. They helped us fill the insurance claims and put us in great contact with a good plumber and an insurance adjuster to recoup our losses. Overall a good experience

Better Life came up to New Jersey after Superstorm Sandy to supposedly help us «people in need». They came around our neighborhood giving out estimates. Luckily our neighborhood decided to have a meeting before any of us made a decision who to use. Better Life’s estimate was literally 4 times higher than the 5 other estimates we got & they weren’t offering anything different or extra. Their representative tried to tell us to not worry about the price because all of their work would be covered 100% by insurance, which was an outright lie. Though flood insurance covered most of the work that was needed to fix our homes, all of our adjusters told us that, if we had used Better Life, we would have been lucky to recoupe 25% of their bill because it was so overpriced. This company was obviously profiteering & should be reported to the NJ&FL Division of Consumer Affairs. Any business that tries to take advantage of people in need should be put out of business!

I can assure all readers that the BBB complaint is NOT dismissed! Simply log into their site and you will see! I could post the case number & a link, if that would be helpful. I only wish there was a way to post pics so I can show the intense amount of damage«Better Life» caused to my home! Vindicated? Not by a mile… Again, don’t say that you were not warned! ;-)
