Hoffman’s Chocolates

I’ve lived on the West Coast most of my life and consider myself and Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream snob.
I decided to try Hoffmans on a whim, when my husband wanted Frozen yogurt from Yougurtland.
The staff is great. They are very patient and will allow you to sample the items and guide you towards some of the more popular choices.
I don’t miss the mix-​in options, because their ice cream is just that good!
It’s very flavorful, the portions are generous. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth it.
My husband never made it next door to Yogurtland.

I love stopping in when I’m in the Fountains. The employees are always friendly and offer samples of ice cream and chocolates try if you arent sure. My favorite go to pieces are the dark chocolate maple creams, and the dark tangerine cream. Last night we tried the dark chocolate meltaway and it was also so delicious! The dark chocolate almond bark is also delicious as is their ice cream. We ordered a cappuccino last night and it was definitely not a cappuccino. more like a huge latte but coffee is not their specialty and I didn’t go in for the coffee so I will not hold that against them even though it went right in the trash. What I love about this place is the chocolate is boxed in a cute little package and bag which makes it feel special, as opposed to just thrown in a white bag as other places do. Definitely check it out if in you’re in the area!

Checked out this heavenly chocolate shop. Friendly and helpful staff offers tasting of different samples, so much to choose from. Store is so clean and presents nicely. Tons of options to get as gifts for any chocolate lover!

The best ice cream and espresso in town! Federico and Stephanie are amazing host very nice and fun!

A Hoffmanns chocolate in Broward! The chocolate gods have answered! Hoffmann chocolate has the best chocolate I have Ever had. I usually go up north at their factory to view these babies being made but knowing there’s a shop nearby makes me oh so happy! The staff was very helpful and welcoming and the store is spotless and inviting!

This place has to have one of the best ice creams ever. We go here so often the staff already knows us. I usually pick fruity flavors or non-​chocolate and my special someone gets as much chocolate as humanely possible.
I’ve had the birthday cake which had huge chunks of cake, the Hawaiian something and that was really good but then one day… my life was changed. I had the dulce de leche cheesecake and some other creamy choclatey flavor with fudge. And to be completely honest, I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
Every time we go the line gets a little longer, and although I’m sad I have to wait for some of the best ice cream in my area I’m happy more people are going and the chances this place will close are slim.
So go, put fudge on it and have your life just change for the better.

After dining at Duffy’s we walked over to Hoffman’s for dessert. I immediately noticed that Hoffman’s was dead and everyone was at Yogurtland (which is right next door).
The employees welcomed us with a friendly greeting. Since all of us were new to Hoffman’s, the employees allowed us to try multiple samples of their ice cream. I sampled about 3 of their flavors & decided that cookies & cream was for me. The others in the party decided that raspberry truffle was for them. I really enjoyed their ice cream & so did the rest of the party.
After checking out their chocolates, I decided to get 2 milk chocolate covered Oreo’s & 1 piece of Oreo bark to go. The chocolate was delicious!
Whenever I’m in the mood for ice cream or chocolates, I always head to Kilwin’s. But now that Hoffman’s is opened, Hoffman’s it will be!

Hoffman’s in Plantation? Yes! I couldn’t wait to try it, I kept mentally trying get there everyday. The perfect time came over this past weekend. I had tried their chocolate covered strawberries in Las Olas and knew this is just what I needed.
They are located in the Fountain’s plaza right next to Lime and across the street from Five Guys. You can pretty much park anywhere and just walk over. I loved how fresh and new it was inside. You walk into a seating area on your right and a wall of packaged chocolate on your left. The counter is the back of the store. Of course, I ask for their chocolate covered strawberries and they said they only sell those on Thursdays… that’s odd and disappointing. They did say they will start doing it everyday but just not right now. :(I drove here so I had to get something. I ended up getting milk chocolate bark with almonds. Their chocolate is rich and not too much, it’s worth it. My boyfriend was craving a milkshake and asked to sample a flavor. They said «ok you get two more tries». We thought that was weird but they said people come in and try every flavor then leave without buying anything so they put this policy into effect. I guess they want to save on those little spoons? or on the labor of having to bend down and scoop a dime size of ice cream for each try? I don’t know.
I am a fan of their chocolate but not a fan that they aren’t serving chocolate covered strawberries at the moment! I will be coming back once they get those. When you are at the counter, look up! They put the «Celebrate» sign décor on their ceiling– definitely cool.

The counter person was extremely friendly and courteous. Let me try a few ice cream flavors. Left with 2 milkshakes $ 5+each. Meh. I may keep them in mind if I’m desperate.

In love with this place! They sell this brittle, it’s coconut cashew crunch, I ate almost the whole bag. I also had their dulce the leche cheesecake ice cream, it was delicious.
Their employees were extremely friendly, and took care of our large party very quickly. I also love they have a sink near the tables, so you can wash sticky little hands without having to haul all the kids to the bathroom.
