A no frills, friendly, fun and easy place to pick up your decorative pumpkins, fall plants and Indian corn! Pumpkins, etc is basically a place for pumpkins and some easy family fun. No admission, no rides, no overpriced junk or food. We loaded up our trunk with several pumpkins, some hardy asters, butternut squash and some decorative pumpkin made out of iron! Kittens roamed EVERYWHERE. My daughter wanted to bring one home and was beside herself when both we(her mean parents) said no as well as the owner. Easy place for families. We will be back in the fall!

Our first time. There is no mentioning about no dogs allowed on their website so we brought our dog. When we were choosing pumpkins to buy and taking pics the owner just came snapped at me very rude that my dog needed to go. I said oh but I didn’t even put my dog down on the ground to run free and he was on his leash and I carried him all the time and I asked if I could just carry him around(our dog is a 9lbs Maltese). He snapped at me again«the dog needs to go!» and was pretty loud and people were staring at me and my son. I would think he could at least be more polite in telling me instead of acting so rude like that. At first I was going to just take my son and leave but we drove an hour to get there so I let my son play a little bit before we left. And originally we were about to buy about 6 pumpkins and some small stuffs, we decided we didn’t want them after being treated like that. I don’t see we are coming back…

We had such a great time! The pumpkins were great, the mazes, and of course the kittens! The owner was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend! We will be back next year.

This is a great place to take kids. We have taken our kids the last 2 years and will continue to return every fall. They do not charge an entrance fee. Everything is priced very reasonably. It’s conveniently located close to the airport. They have a bunch of kittens every year that the kids love to play with. There is a corn maze, although I’ve never tried it. The employees are very helpful and friendly. I can’t say enough about this place.

I. Simply. Love. This. Place. PUMPKINS! Reasonably priced pumpkins! Lots of them! A very large hill with a pumpkin patch! Authentic, lovely owners, a corn maze, everything you could want! KITTENS& cats to play with! Other fun items to buy in their little country store. You must visit this place. Affordable items, very cute stuff, and overall the greatest pumpkin patch in the KC area. LOVEIT!

This place is such a great hidden gem for fall family fun. They have free activities for kids and very reasonable prices on pumpkins and other homemade goodies. We’ll no doubt make it a yearly destination.

I took my daughter and her friend here today, and we all had a wonderful time. This is a real pumpkin patch, where you can go out into the field and pick your own pumpkins. But you don’t HAVE to, as they also offer pre-picked pumpkins in assorted sizes. There is NO admission charge, and they offer a corn maze as well as a maze of those big round haybales — which are also great fun to jump on top of, from bale to bale. Pumpkins Etc. has been a family-owned business since 1984, and the owners Bill and Kathy are charming and hospitable. This really is one-stop shopping for all of your fall decorating, because in addition to pumpkins, they offer giant mums, bittersweet, Indian corn, and gourds. The shop inside the barn offers creamed honey in several flavors, fresh honey with or without honeycomb, and homemade fudge. I’m sure that I missed some things, but you will enjoy exploring the shop and finding the things I’ve forgotten about. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially on the pumpkins considering this was a drought year. Pumpkins are sold by size, not weight. This is the experience you’ve been looking for, if you’re starting to feel like the whole pumpkin patch experience has become too commercialized and too much like a cheap carnival. There is no «staging» here… it is an authentic, family-owned, working farm offering genuine products and warm, friendly smiles. We can’t wait to visit again!
