I am here to sing the praises of this resale shop. Perhaps because it is a «chain» or franchise, a lot of thought has been given to A) the quality of inventory, B) the organization or feng shui of the store, C) the display and pricing of goods, and D) the flexible customer service. I’ll address this issue first. On my first visit, I purchased a shirt without trying it on in the store. I tried it on at home and it did not fit. It sat in the back seat of my car well past the 7-day return policy period. When I finally got back to the area about a month later, they still accepted an exchange. Very gracious when I would have been willing, too, to just give it back for them to sell again. I am not a very patient shopper, and usually very focused on an item or two and getting in and out fast. But here I find myself perusing the extensive selection of good, clean, and frequently designer offerings in clothing, at least in men’s. I love the pricing. Everything I looked at was either $ 4.29 for shirts, shorts and slacks, or another slightly higher price(maybe $ 8.29) for items like jackets, outerwear, suit jackets and dress slacks. Makes everything so much easier, like the dollar store! Check it out if you’re a vintage or resale fan.

If you’re looking to stretch you’re money, Goodwill is a nice place to consider. There are 3 – 4 other Thrift Shops in Platteville that are less expensive, but Goodwill has the most stock. Some times certain tags are ½ off. You won’t find antiques here, but they have a lot of household and clothes.

This Goodwill is newly opened and very clean. The store is well organized. The clothing is organized by gender, age, size and color. They also have furniture and household goods. They provide seasonal attire as well(e.g. Halloween costumes in October). I like the staff they have hired. It is a little easy to get turned around trying to find the entrance to the donation center.
