Busy coffee shop, but they’re efficient, caring, and the foam in the latte is good. Good neighborhood coffee spot with outdoor seating too! Well, I guess it’s the only coffee shop, actually. The closest next coffee shop is where Whole Foods is!

Shame on Coffee Bean for not allowing customers to tip your employees on a credit card! You can afford it!!!

Consistently as amazing as all other Beans… This is in a cute new area. Service was great and fast and accurate. My favorite thing about this place is that when you walk outside, you see so many doggies waiting for their owners to come back out. It’s a very dog friendly neighborhood– so CBTL should consider letting dogs come in on a leash like they allow in Malibu :)

Great service, cozy fire pit table seating, and delicious hot cocoa. Did I mention easy parking? Good job CB!

Been coming here regularly since the doors opened in 2005. Ten years and counting and it never gets old. I won’t pretend to be a coffee connoisseur by any means, but it sure tastes good to me every time and the staff is always welcoming and helpful. The wifi is usually up to speed and solid, like most Coffee Beans seem to be. The atmosphere rocks on the inside and outside with plenty of folks, families, dogs galore, fire pit and other shops surrounding it. My only beef is that it closes at 8pm and can get brutally cold in there after 6pm. Don’t ask why. It’s like the AC just does its own thing! Bring a hoodie — even in summer!

I wanted to continue to be a coffee bean loyalist however I was a bit disappointed to see that after Starbucks moved in, coffee bean actually raised their prices. My usual iced hazelnut coffee is now $ 4.49 rather than $ 2.99 just a week ago. A comparable drink at Starbucks is much cheaper and their rewards program is pretty awesome

Super friendly, a good loyalty program and other special perks(10% off espresso drinks through September with a special little card) The friendly service here has put The Bean at PV ahead of Pete’s at MDR.

This place seemed to have only 1 employee at front at 1 time& another to occasionally cleanup(then retreated to the back) — very quickly, and not thoroughly. The plastic cover did not fit the cup well. The employee said its because they were from 2 different companies. The Wifi also suddenly disconnects. I had 5 minutes of very slow wifi. The employee said they will«reset it.» For the same price, I would find any other place for coffee in this area.

Great little place in the Playa Vista development. Great family and creative oriented crowd. Feels a little like Paris, little stores surrounding a park. Good caffe latte. Decent parking. Like it.

Love this place. I come here at least 3 – 4 times a week and the staff is fantastic and always in a good mood, regardless of how early it is. For the reviewers who give this place 1 star for asking too many questions(but then say the coffee is good), or that the music is too loud or too soft… Yeesh. This place is consistent, quality and delicious. Highly recommended and will always come back.

One of my all-time favorite coffee shops in LA!(And I’ve been to a LOT!). Friendly service. Great drinks! And a relaxing, spatious patio overlooking a park across the street great for people watching! Ample parking, too, on the nearby streets, and a parking lot across the street for area(Playa Vista) shops. Heck, TMZ is a block away, so you might even spot Harvey Levin, or any of the TMZ show personalities!

i go here sometimes for convenience but they are the worst. they make it so hard to just get a coffee. there’s at least 10 follow up questions to «large black drip, please.» …“no, i don’t want a pastry. YES, I’m sure. NOT a rewards member, i would tell you if i was. of course it’s to-go, you don’t even have ceramic cups. you don’t need to know my name, you’re handing it right to me. no, no room, i told you black. no receipt. good god” disclaimer– i’m used to New York and its pace, but the amount of wasted breath is truly unreasonable here. coffee is decent though.

Cool spot to grab a drink and enjoy the weather. They have plenty of outdoor seating and a table top fire pit when the sun goes down. I like the mix of people, and the playa vista breeze.

The manager and staff at this Coffee Bean are truly amazing! Always friendly,(they remember your name!) and they work hard to keep this local coffee shop running like clockwork. This place is a favorite to come relax and chat with your neighbors on the patio which has a cozy firepit. The coffee is great and my kids love the muffins and treats. Lots of people like to enjoy coffee on the patio with their dogs basking in the sun too! The Coffee Bean adds so much convenience to the neighborhood! Thanks to the staff who work so hard to make this a great spot for many of us to enjoy.

Yes, five stars. If more could be added, I would. I’ve been known to drive miles out of my way for this particular Coffee Bean. I was a regular at a different one and was converted. There’s a comfort in knowing it will be done right. It will be done with care… and with personal pride. The GM, Candace, truly cares that everyone has a pleasurable experience. This trickles all the way through the ranks. They are my Coffee Bean family. They truly care about the product they serve, and all who enter. Such a rarity in business these days.

Thanks for always knowing my order and making my mornings a little brighter. Great customer service– the entire staff is consistently just really nice and greet me and others by name every day. Yes, it’s a little pricey but what coffee shop isn’t. Love the convenience of grabbing my coffee on my morning walk with the dogs. Thanks guys!

A good go-to coffee spot nestled in Playa Vista, I can certainly vouch for the well-made Americanos here. That said, I’d skip the drip coffee… the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe tasted terribly harsh and burnt.

I’d rather not share my enthusiasm, but what the heck. My favorite of all the«Coffee Bean» locations! It’s just like every other«Coffee Bean» menu-wise, but the cleanness, freshness of the enclosed community of Playa del Rey, amongst the high-end townhouses and condominiums, makes this spot quite refreshing. The people-watching is higher-end too. What can I say, this place can only get ruined if it gets too over-popular. But it’s not like people read these reviews anyway, so I suppose this review is a reminder for me. #elevation

I wasn’t really impressed. I ordered an iced tea at the cup was all ice with just a few sips of tea. I ordered 3 mini donuts because there was a discount when you buy three, and the cashier tried to charge me the single price, X3. He had no clue. Someone had to come over and show him what to do. This makes me wonder how many people he has overcharged?
