7-Eleven

There are about 4 7-Eleven’s near me I frequent. This is one is definitely my favorite. Everybody seems to know jimmy by name there. He’s super friendly and personable. He definitely makes this 7-​Eleven what it is and works all the time. Awesome guy. There is also a lady who works a couple days a week, can’t remember her name right now, but she comes into my work often and is really friendly too. I end up having conversations with both of them and sometimes a couple of the other people who work there including the owners. The staff definitely makes it feel more like a mom and pop shop than any other 7-​Eleven I know.

7 – 11 has a nice sized parking lot. the same specials are at all the 7 – 11.

–not a fad of the soda, the dog isn’t as salty as it used to be.

–typical 7 – 11, not much variety of beers, priced a little higher than usual.

So I went in to buy my e cig refills and the guy asks if I’m 18.
I say yes, I just turned 18 yesterday. With a big smile.
He takes my ID and scans it and then looks at his screen and then looks at me and says «Oh you look very young.»
Thank you, I know I’m only just 18.
Then we giggled and how old I really am. Hey, he thought I looked young and it made my day.
They are always stocked up on Menthol Vuse refills so I’m happy either way.

This place somehow always smells weird…

This is a great ⁷⁄₁₁. The employees are super friendly, it’s always clean ad always quick. If only every ⁷⁄₁₁ was this good.

We should all be this lucky to have a 7-​Eleven like this down the street.

Ohh… yes. My good old 7 – 11!
I could go on and on about this place.
I’ve been going here for years, I went to school down the street and would go get Slurpees on hot afternoons after school.
Now (clearly many years later) it’s turned into my energy drink/​coffee and cigarette stop. (Oh how time flies… right?)
I love the staff there, Jimmy basically knows my whole circle of friends so I sporadically fill him in on whats new and exciting. Cindy is super sweet and when I go there on late night when it’s not to busy I enjoy going outside and having a smoke with her and chatting. The owners are so sweet (A nice couple, there in the mornings only) I used to stop in every morning to get my caffeine fix for the day. I had stopped working and didn’t go there in the mornings for quite a while, maybe a year or so. But sure enough I went in the morning and they remembered me and smiled and asked how I had been, it made me feel like an appreciated customer. :)
Like I said, I could go on and on about how great they are but instead of sitting there and reading it, head down there and go check it out. you will most likely find yourself engaged in a pleasant conversation with the staff.
By the way, they just put a Redbox rental machine out front. Perfect for grabbing some snacks and a ($ 1 per night) DVD.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH Thank Heaven for THIS 7 Eleven!
For more than 15 Years, I’ve been going to this 7 Eleven. Tuck away, unlike most 7 Elevens, but is strategically placed in a Residential/​Comercial Area. A location where people NEED a 7 Eleven.
The owners are awesome! Having run this store for so long, they know the majority of customers the come in and out of the store.
They always have things in stock. And they tend to have stuff that not most 7 Elevens don’t have.
Why 5 stars? Because they have always had good employees, a good stock on everything, clean inside AND out, are very courteous, and treat every customer be it a first timer who just happened to stop by, someone who has been a customer for over 15 years.
If you haven’t been here.. . go in the Morning, and ask for DAVE.. . tell him I sent you =)
