If you’re coming for a passport photo, don’t bother. This place is basically a picture framing store. After making me wait 15 minutes while he helped some people buying frames, the owner informed me that the photo tech was on vacation but I could come back in three days. If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would.

Dan did an outstanding job. Very professional, gave great suggestions, and absolutely loved the way my piece turned out!

I had a bathroom mirror framed and very pleased with the frame Dan selected for us. The completion of the mirror in a beautiful frame was just perfect for the newly updated bathroom.
The attention to detail and quality of Dan’s workmanship is hard to find these days. He is a master framer in his profession and a nice guy too! He gave us step by step instructions on how to hang the Z-​bar on the wall and how to install the mirror onto the wall.
I would recommend anyone wanting to frame a mirror or picture to have Dan assist you. If you like quality work, you will not be disappointed at Afflare Arts & Custom Framing.
Located in the same shop at the other side of the store is a photo business. We have used Alex for making copies of photos and would recommend anyone wanting to make copies of photos, restore old photos, passports and more to stop by.

This review is for the passport photos. When you walk in there are a lot of frame selections dispersed everywhere. Tucked in the back corner is Alex. He is the man. He took my photos, chose the best one, and worked his magic. Photo came out great! Never had someone that was so attentive when it came to this service. This place is highly recommended for passport photos.

Terrible! I brought my 2 original, Southwest oil paintings to Dan to reframe. He took 2 months to get the job done. When I brought my paintings home and put them up they looked awful! I was so disappointed. My wonderful originals looked boring and dull. They might have been diplomas or sales awards. I am taking them to another framer to have them done right.

Dan!!! What a great guy to do business with !!! I have been doing business with Dan for Ever !!! at least 15 years. his work speaks for itself. He may me a bit pricey, but trust me you get what you pay for. I left the Bay Area 11 years ago and had left a very valuable Poster with him. When I returned in 2012 He still had the poster and i finally Framed it and took it Home. How many businesses would be that Honest ???
Don’t bother shopping around because there is NO ONE better for your Job!!!

I have been working with Afflare for several years now, having come to them as a refugee of the former shopping mall framing establishments.
I can easily echo a previous comment about Dan’s incredible eye for quality. Time and time again I’ve seen him tie together my office, living room, den, man cave, etc., by simply listening to my description of the space. The final product always compliments the room, and never fails to garner rave reviews from my guests and clients.

I did not actually purchase a frame here but I have to say that the two men that work here (one on framing and one on printing) are so incredibly kind. They are very thoughtful, sincere and have a good sense of humor. They really care about giving you a good quality photo and frame and they will talk with you as much as necessary so that you are satisfied. I also really appreciated their honesty when I was printing a picture. They said «no, it won’t look good.» Instead of having me spend $ on a print that wouldn’t look superb. They have great energy and I would recommend them to anyone.
Additionally, while I was in the store a woman stopped by just to say hi. They hugged and she said that they have framed everything in her home. «He is the best» she said, speaking of the owner. He seems to do an incredibly high quality job and I would recommend him to anyone.

My 16-​year-​old son got a Sword in Spain and needed it framed. The owner of the shop spent a great deal of time working with us to make sure that my son would love the final product and it would last him a life time. The work was beautifully done. I know my grand children will display this piece with pride. It wasn’t cheep, but worth it.
