I came here because I am working out of town and wanted an inexpensive yummy Chinese place. I read the reviews and came !!! I got the general Tao chicken lunch special. It came with salad and soup. The lady working here was very nice. Very big portions as well. Quality inexpensive food !!!
I love it !!! Come try it !!! It’s even my first time trying general Tao !!!

Today I was in the mood for Chinese food. so i decided to go here. That was a mistake. food was ok lunch special does not offer ann eggroll and the hot and sour soup was very tasteless and cold. The service was the worse I have ever had. I was taken to my table didn’t get a menu until 5 minutes later. The people that got there after me were helped before me. they got their food and I was still waiting for someone to take my order. Never got a refill on my soda. Was stuck with nothing to drink during my entire meal.

Some of the BEST Chinese food I’ve had!
Everything I’ve tried from this place has been awesome, my go-​to meal is the spicy string beans & sesame shrimp! However, everything else I’ve tried that other people have ordered in the past has been really good as well. I’m not much of a calamari Dan, but theirs was so good that I would definitely consider ordering it for myself! The fried rice, spring rolls, chow mein, mu-​shu vegetables, all outstanding!
Customer service is always extremely pleasant & very fast when I call in to pick up my order! The location is very easy to find because their sign is large, and there are plenty of tables for a crowded dinner hour!
If you’re reading this, you’re clearly questioning the quality of the food & service here, and I whole-​heartedly suggest that you give them a try! This place has never disappointed!

I be been here a lot and I have to say it’s my first review that I wrote in my life because this res really worth more than just a review OMG they have the best and fresh Chinese food in the whole Bay Area I am big fan of Chinese food and I eat Chinese food at lease 2 days a week and this place was the best place for me so far from 100… that I tried in different restaurants. THE BEST EVER. try it one time then u see what is real Chinese food. DONE.

First time back in many years. More than ten years. Food is really good. Good sized portions. We had the Wor Won Ton soup. Ordered a large thinking it would be enough for 4, was more then enough with good Amounts of meat and vegetables. Also had chicken chow mien and the classic sweet and sour pork. Everything tasted very fresh and once again good portions.

This is my favorite Chinese place! I drive to Concord to eat here. Seafood mushrooms or Mongolian 3 kinds is my favorite. You don’t find it in other Chinese restaurants. Prices are decent and you get 10% off if you get a to go order. I definitely recommend this place

Best Chinese food in my area hands down. I tried this place after getting sick of panda and seeing the prices are reasonably low. Amazing authentic full of flavor entrees! I have tried the veggie and chicken chow mien and it’s been delicious every time!

Crap service, good food. This place has good food. I dont recommend eating there. The service was very poor. I went to dinner with my two children they ordered soft drinks and I ordered hot tea they put the hot tea in front of the empty seat out of my reach they also serve my meal to the empty seat to where I had to get up and grab it and at the end of the night when our bill came up they gave me my change with no ones I was at least going to leave a tip when I asked if they could give me ones in exchange for the five they sat at the register talking amongst themselves really made me feel like they were expecting to have the whole $ 5 as a tip for bad service nope they really should deserve a 4 for the food and is 0 for the service

This place is the best most fresh authentic Chinese food Ive ever had in my life!!!
I’ve been coming her for 7 years, no matter where I go, I always come back! My fav is the sizzling rice soup, salt and pepper prawns, chicken chow mien, and egg rolls!!! Can’t go wrong !!!

But if you have a bigger party they add the 15% gratuity on the receipt without even letting you know they’ve added it. If we didn’t inquire, we might have added an extra tip.

Generic Chinese food for the unadventurous. Perfectly adequate if you consider broccoli beef as exotic. If you are an advanced Chinese food fan, there’s no reason to eat here — you might as well drive a few blocks to the PH post office area for much more auth ethic Chinese food.

Love this place. Best Chinese Food in the area hands down! No MSGs. The Chef Uses Olive oil so the food has a light and delicious taste. My favorites … General Taos chkn (Chkn Breast strips), killer Won ton soup and Honey Walnut Prawns! Mai is just a complete doll and the service is impeccable!

I was craving Chinese and hadn’t tried this place in years so I wanted to go and see if this place had changed! I regret to inform you China Chef has pretty gross Chinese food! We ordered mongolian beef, bbq pork chow mein, and mushu pork! When we got the food on the plate everything looked the same, a bunch of onions, cabbage, and brown meat. No fresh veggies! No color! All bland and boring! My husband and I both picked at our plates and had no desire to finish. We ended up throwing away a bunch of food about ¾ of each item! This food was made with zero love, just thrown together! Won’t be back!

I had the pleasure of working the Holiday again. The only advantage of working, other than missing quality time with my family; is our dinner is taken care of by the company. (j/​k about the Family part) The only place I can find open was China Chef and I was happy to find out that they had a 10% discount for take out orders. I had the Kung Pao Chicken and Combo Fried Rice. My colleague had the Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken. The food was good and I was able to get a Free drink with the handy Unilocal check-​in app. They ran out of cups so the guy put the soda in a ginormous soup cup where they would usually put the soups in. Will be back to try out more of their food.

Great place for lunch. Cheap, fast service, and the food is actually good. I like the sweet and sour chicken, the spicy chicken, and the shrimp with lobster sauce. Very consistent service during lunch.
