This place is bad, real bad. Shelves are bare and all they have is crap. Most items are actually over a dollar. $ 1.25 to $ 1.50. I usually go to the Moraga dollar store that has so much more. This store is like a bad garage sale. Not even worth getting out of the car. Detour this place!

This Dollar $tore and More is in a small plaza on Contra Costa Boulevard. My husband and I were in here the morning of Valentine’s Day — joking about the great gifts we could get one another(I made him promise to get NO V-Day gifts from here, or anywhere else). We were killing time so we walked up and down each aisle, noticing that many of the items were more than a Dollar(guess the name of the place should give that away — but if everything isn’t $ 1, I don’t think you should get to use«Dollar Store» in your name.) I felt tricked. We did end up leaving with one item: a packet of seeds for heirloom radishes. My husband planted these for me and that was the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. ($ 0.64 total)

Dollar Store and More isn’t. it’s just a shadow of Dollar Tree and it’s equivalents. no liquor, no produce, no breads, no frozen items, no balloons, no’s are a long list. not a lot of edible, snacks nor cans. there are also no Dollar Tree’s in this area, so though D. S + is just a 2, they merit 3 stars since there is no there(dollar tree) there. reading glasses’ frames too frail, skipped, went for some cookies, chips(1) –just ok for no name brands. 2.5 stars

They opened a new dollar store in my area, it’s well organized and clean. They have a huge display of Lagirl cosmetics. They have a small amount of refrigerated food, couple aisles of canned goods, small section of pet products, General house hold items, couple aisles of party supplies, they do balloons there too, and they also have a small section of clothes. Overall I will come back to shop again.
