Gambles has been serving Newell Vista Apartments for years. Great customer service, he is always on time and willing to accommodate. Not to mention super funny. WE GIVE HIM 5 STARS!

Dan Gamble is personable. That’s for sure. And if this was about personality I’d give him 4 stars. Unfortunately Mr. Gamble is a bad business man.
When I called him to get a quote on replacing my rental grade carpet in our bonus room he came, measured, laughed and gave me a good quote. Then he left my house and did not get a payment. He realized that and returned and I paid him half the cost so that he could purchase materials. We had some work to do on the room so I asked him to check in with me when the carpet arrived to schedule an install date. The work was completed promptly and I called him the following Thursday evening to see if the carpet arrived. He told me it had and that he could get his guys out by 8 AM on Saturday. Awesome! I think. I’ll have the rest of my day.
Saturday comes and 8 AM no one shows at my door, no one at 9 or 10 either. Finally I call and I hear that his guys have a flat and there are some car issues and they will be at my house at 11. One and one half hours later (11:30ish), the guys come. They pull up the carpet and begin work. Mr. Gamble shows up, apologizes, and makes sure that they have what they need and then leaves.
When the guys finish, I ask who I should pay. No one knows. I wait for Mr. Gamble to show up figuring he will check the work and collect payment. He doesn’t show.
2 MONTHS LATER!!! (Exclamations added for emphasis), Mr. Gamble calls me and says he seems to not have collected payment. I said he did not (although I suspect he wouldn’t have known) and that I wanted a reduction in costs for the delay in time. He apologized and said he couldn’t give that to me because he would lose money on the job. I told him fine, I would pay him the amount owed but that I would not recommend him and I would write a bad review. So there you have it, my bad review.
