Very busy and we went on a Thursday. We had reservations but got their earlier so they sat us. Didn’t take forever. We had the coconut shrimp and calamari appetizers. Both equally delish. All taste fresh. Even the salad under the shrimp was super tasty. We got the steak and salmon… both oh yea tasty! The salmon was so buttery omg I wanted to melt in it. The steak was perfectly cooked, the way I like and had me some delish mashed potatoes. The beer is good also.

Taproom has roughly 20 beers on tap from mostly local breweries. The full menu from Jack’s being available in the taproom is a huge plus. Seating is limited but people usually filter in and out pretty quick. Really enjoy coming here to watch football and Warriors games.

Great tasting beer, reasonable prices, and the food was good. It is a lot more than I was expecting from a pub in a strip mall. Definitely worth hitting this place up on a week night and testing their beer selection.

So I totally love this place but it needed to be bigger. Hard to find a table most evenings. Great selection of beer and wine.

Great beer, the food is amazing and the service has been consistently good every time I’ve been there! Super happy to have taps across from the restaurant!

This is an awesome extension of the Jack’s restaurant. It’s a little small and seating can be limited. They have a selection of about 20 local craft beers that are ever changing. You can order Jack’s Tap’s small plates or take a look at the full Jack’s menu and they’ll bring your food in from the restaurant. I don’t think you can order the craft beers at the restaurant but you can go into the tap room then bring them into the restaurant.

This a great place to enjoy a variety of beers and a great bartender working the room. Highly recommended but the place is small.

This is my new go to local tap room. The bartenders are helpful, nice, and don’t mind letting you sample a few before selecting your beer and will even make recommendations. They always have a cider on tap which is nice to mix it up. They always have a rotation of IPAs, a sour, stouts, saisons, and a few others. Their tap list is 20 beers in total and their own small bites bar food. But if someone in your group isn’t into beer they are attached to their full service restaurant and bar including drinks and food. The tap room is a decent size with high top bar stools. They maintain it well and have two small bathrooms in the back for just the tap room. Wednesday night is their busiest night due to off the grid taking place around the corner.

First time visiting this restaurant. New to east bay so It was Surprisingly nice and quite big once you enter! Food is decent, had the breaded chicken breast and rigatoni. The chicken was tasty, portions seemed exceptionally large, rigatoni was over cooked and when I mentioned to our server he was very concerned and genuinely accommodating and made sure I was happy with everything I ordered. I was extremely appreciative towards his customer service and care towards his customers! My man had the NY steak. His portion huge too. Well cooked and seasoned, tasted good. Manager visited our table after learning about my rigatoni & offered a new plate as well. THIS place clearly prides itself on excellent customer service as I wasn’t too concerned about the pasta but they knew I wasn’t totally satisfied and this was not ok for them! He sent over a free dessert which was fantastic! We would return for a second try because of their customer service & give another dish a try. Portions were too large for my personal taste. It’s merely a personal preference as in I prefer whole foods over a Costco type store. But over all experience was good! Thank you for caring about your customers.

This place was slammed on Saturday morning but we were able to sneak into the Tap room. Which j thinks is a «separate» spot. The girlfriend and I had Brekky here and weren’t disappointed at all. I had the chicken, waffles and two eggs with gravy(forgot the name of this) and she had an omelette. The portions are large, so buyer beware. We could have split and got a side of something. It was really good and reasonably priced. I’d love to be back here to sample some beers. Our waiter was an awesome guy and cracked us up trying to get us to take shots at 10AM… For the record I wouldn’t have been opposed!

Stopped by while my girlfriend and I waited for our table at their restaurant and had a great experience. The bartender was very friendly and quick to get us our drinks. They only serve wine and beer. Their beer selection is great! They have about 15 different beers on tap. Anything from a Pilsner to a dark lager. My girlfriend isn’t a fan of beer but luckily they had cider. Hoping to swing by again and try out their food.

It’s like Jack’s beer friendly adult waiting room for a table. You can enter from the other side of the street or from Jacks. They have a bunch of beers on tap and special appetizers available. Don’t feel like waiting your turn in line for the restaurant. if you get one of the three bar tables there, you can get your food there too. Staff is friendly and helpful with a good selection of beers to pick from. All pluses. Pro tip: if you see a appetizer you like on the taproom specials, order it. They don’t have it at the restaurant, and they will not get it for you.

Jack’s Tap is fairly new to me. They have a pretty good selection, but when it comes down to it, I’d be okay if I stuck around Todos Santos area, mainly of because of convenience and I can get more selective with brew. But, if I am close to Jack’s, I would make the drop in because it’s not too crowded, and like I said, good selection. Plus, I can get good food from the main restaurant. If Jack’s Taps was closer, I’d frequent more.

I’m happy that this taproom opened up in Pleasant Hill! I love me a good beer and this place has a great selection. The day I went I decided to drink Heretic Evil Twin which cost $ 7 and Altamont Hella Hoppy. Jack’s Taps is attached to the restaurant, but has it’s own entrance and own small bar food menu. I decided to go with the lamb meatballs, which were flavorful and filling. I don’t remember the bartenders names but two men working the day I went and were both friendly and answered any questions I had about beers that they had on tap. Yes Jack’s Taps is on the smaller side so if you get there during a super busy time it might be hard to find a seat. However, this is a great place to hang out and enjoy small bites and beer. There are 3TV’s here too if you’re looking for a place to catch a game.

Nice addition to downtown Pleasant Hill, and a nice extension of Jack’s Restaurant! They have a great 20 tap beer selection, everything from pale to hoppy to stout. My honey and I each had two beers. I noticed that my second beer was served in a different glass(smaller) than when my honey had just ordered it as his first. We asked the beertender about it and he apologized and said he’d make it right. He poured a bit more of the beer into an even smaller glass, which brought my total up to a pint. I think my most favorite thing about this new spot is that there are two single stall bathrooms! Of course, the restaurant bathrooms are still upstairs if you’re an extrovert and like to ascend and descend the grand staircase to use the facilities. We will definitely be back to enjoy another beer and possibly some snacks from the bar menu.

Good place, nice beer selection. I’d like to see fewer local brews and more hard-to-find, obscure beers. The food is good. I liked the pretzel despite the cheese. I’m more of a mustard person. The lamb meatballs were pretty legit though. Definitely try those. Can’t wait to see what new beers well be coming through in the future.

Jack’s Taps is a small taproom that is actually attached to Jack’s restaurant. It has it’s own entrance and beer selection and stands alone from the larger Jack’s establishment. The staff was friendly, allowing us to try as many samples as we wanted and the selection of beer was excellent. Some people have complained that they cannot order off of the full menu at Jack’s and this is true; if you want to go eat and Jack’s it’s only a few steps away people. Jack’s Tap’s does offer a bar menu. We got the lamb meatballs and pickled veggies. Delicious!

I’m a fan of of Jack’s and when I heard of a Taproom opening up; I couldn’t wait to stop by by for some Suds. I had wanted to try the Campfire Stout, but I was out of luck that day because it just ran out before I got there. I did try a smooth Chocolate Hazelnut Porter. Very nice and refreshing with a light finish. The Barkeep let me try the Bourbon Peak Stout which was surprisingly good. They offer light bites, but you can get the breakfast /lunch menu before 4pm. The Taproom leads right into the Restaurant but they have over 20 beers and a couple of Tv’s so you can relax without having to wait in Restaurant for a drink. Definitely a place to hang with friends before a flick or a nightcap. They close at 11pm Friday and Saturday. Sunday through Thursday 10pm.
