My Thai appeared nondescript from the outside. Inside the décor and ambience are surprisingly«clean» and decidedly Thai! The food is solidly good. Check out Stuffed Angel Wings, best one I have tasted in NorCal. The prices are pretty reasonable and the staff, extremely friendly. Love this place!

Called for delivery and the food arrived quick and HOT! The yellow curry was relish and the calamari was fried to perfection. Next trip will be on site. Note that there is a $ 30 minimum for delivery. YUMMY!

Came here the other day. The curry potato appetizer was delicious, as was the curry. The prices seemed fair, and the waiters were nice. The barbeque plate my mom got didn’t have a lot of flavor and the meat(both chicken and beef) was dry and chewy. I have been to a lot of other thai places, and this is also the only one that seemed to bother my stomach. I would come here again to give them another shot, but for now I’ll stick to my usual spot just down the street.

I was really excited to try this place, Thai food is my favorite. I have been searching for a good and clean Thai place close by. It looks like I’m going to keep searching. We ordered the Seafood Pad Thai and it was horrible. The second it hit the table we all were overwhelmed by its disgusting smell. Giving it the benefit of the doubt we tried it. And I really wish we didn’t. We then decided to send it back and we were told that we had to pay for half since we ate too much… Excuse me? You mean the couple of bites and the one shrimp? If they would have just took it back they probably would have got three stars and I might have gone back. The red curry is good. Basic.

I think the food here is pretty solid. I haven’t been disappointed yet. I’ve ordered to go a few times and have eaten at the restaurant once. The good: –shrimp in a blanket appetizer. Can’t go wrong here. Yellow and green curries are yummy and flavorful, though I get extra mild, so I can’t speak for my spicier brethren. –Tom yum is pretty good. It has a slightly different flavor than some other restaurants, but no complaints. But, not outstanding either. –I’m a big fan of the pineapple fried rice. Again, this is not a spicy dish. –the green curry friend rice is also tasty, although a bit spicy for my palate, but worth burning my mouth for on the occasion I can suck it up. The not so good was the service when I dined in the one time. It wasn’t crowded by any means, yet the service was painfully slow and somewhat inattentive. As in, they took a long while to refill our waters, took a while to take our order, etc. They are very friendly and accommodating to changes, however, I think I’ll be more inclined to just keep ordering take out. Also, prices are fairly reasonable. So, pros are: tasty food, reasonably priced, great for take out. Cons: slow service. Note to self: this is my go to for to go Thai. :)

I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve been looking for good delivery, anything other than pizza, for the longest time. Unfortunately in my area there is just nothing up to my standards… I work from home and often don’t want to take the time out of my day to pick up food. I drove past the restaurant a couple nights ago and saw a sign in their window saying they deliver. Perfect! I ordered the yellow curry and pad see-ew and my boyfriend got the pad thai. It was great and came with extra spicy sauce so I could control how spicy I wanted it. The prices were decent and the quality and taste was better than anticipated, especially for delivery. The staff was friendly on the phone and in person too! I will certainly be ordering here often from now on. Keep up the good work My Thai!

Service was ok, my daughter had to send back her meal and they were really nice about that which is why 2 stars. Curry had zero spice, I wasn’t asked what level and so assumed there would be some spice, after all it is Thai food. It was also runny and watery with potatoes not cooked all the way through. The chicken in the curry was dry. Rice was bland and needed the sauce to be palatable. My son enjoyed the bbq chicken. I wouldn’t come back here:(

I’m from out of town and was craving Thai, figured id try the closest place and was pleasantly surprised, the wings were great and they actually got the spice level on my fried rice perfect. I’d definitely recommend.

Service: One star Food: One Star Ordered Pad Thai, salty and a little dry. Server came to our table 3 times, to order, drop off food and to give us the check. Not going back. Prefer Thai Osha down the street!

The prices are fair and the portions and fair as well. It’s my first time and I had a takeout. They prepared quickly and it’s delicious. an hour later and it’s still fresh/hot so no complaints. I’ll return for a dine-in soon, excited to try their yellow curry! As a Thai food lover, and I’ve been to many, many of them. It’s one of the best. It’s not the best I’ve had, but it’s worth the price, food is still yummy. Minus the one star because it’s a little bland for my taste(considering it’s also Thai food), but I also understand that this depends on one’s palette so I recommend you try it out yourself! The food overall is nice so it won’t be a waste(speaking on the curry which is all I’ve had here).

Looks like I’ve found my new spot! I was very impressed overall. The price is more than fair, the portions are sufficient, the service is exceptional, and the food is delicious. My wife and I ate here for dinner on a Sunday evening. She order the bbq pork, which was extremely tender and juicy. I had the green curry chicken – the first thing I order whenever I’m trying a new Thai restaurant. For $ 8.95, I received a good amount of chicken, fresh vegetables, some of the best eggplant I’ve ever eaten, and a large portion of jasmine rice(there’s an up-charge for brown rice if I remember). Not only was the food exceptional, but I can’t remember when I’ve had better service. The staff was prompt to seat us, take our orders, and frequently stopped by in order to refill waters or check up on things. I also like how the kitchen is very transparent. You don’t have to crane your neck to get a view of what’s going on; a casual glance lets you see everything very clearly. In short, I can’t find anything wrong with this place. I’ve always been a fan of Thai, but it’s usually not on the top of my list. Nevertheless, My Thai easily tops the list, and I’ll be returning frequently!

Love this place. Really friendly staff, reasonable prices and good food. Haven’t dabbled into their curries yet(my gf doesn’t care for curry) but the pad thai, pad see ew, BBQ combo, and fried sweet potato are all awesome. The pad see ew noodles are super soft and the BBQ meats are tender with a great balance in amount of each of the different meats. I like to pick my one or two«places» in every city I live and will always try several before committing loyalty to those one or two. Hello Phở is my Vietnamese, Ming’s is my Chinese, and My Thai is indeed my Thai.

There’s something about Thai food that always gets me. This is a nice little place on the street of Contra Costa. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was so attentive. She always knew when we needed refills and plates taken away. It was so wonderful. I would have to say that their lunch special was worth every penny. They gave a good portion of yellow curry, rice, and fried wonton for about 8 bucks. It wasn’t the best yellow curry I had but it wasn’t the worst. It was just right for a small establishment.

Came to My Thai in Pleasant Hill for a weekday lunch after a movie at the Century. Their lunch specials are very reasonable $ 7.95 — we both had the Pra Ram with Chicken: chicken, white rice, broccoli — all covered with a peanut sauce. It was not bad, but on the whole, nothing special. Ironically, a little bland, which is hard to do for my palate since I’m not a spice person. Service was cheerful and efficient, comfortable booths inside and a nice atmosphere. Very convenient logistically for anyone in downtown Pleasant Hill. Still, of the two restaurants in this small shopping center, although My Thai is less expensive than Melo’s, you do get what you pay for, and Melo’s is the one I would come back to.

Short Version: The only reason this isn’t a 2-star review, and the only thing worth getting here is their Pad Kee Mao(drunken noodles) with beef… or maybe I just thought it was really good only because everything else I ate here made me drop my expectations pretty low. Extended Version: Thai Spicy Drunken Noodle(Pad Kee Mao) w/Beef($ 9.95) — 4 Stars — So good that I almost forgot how disappointing the rest of their food had been — Ordered this«Thai Spicy», and they came pretty close — Don’t start stuffing yourself before checking the temperature… they bring it out to the table straight off the stove, so it might need a few minutes to cool down — The beef was a lot better than the chicken, shrimp, and Thai sausage here Phad Thai w/Shrimp($ 8.95) — 3 Stars — The shrimp wasn’t super fresh, and they leave the tails on like a lot of Thai restaurants, but at least they gave me 5 shrimp instead of being stingy like they were w/the Papaya Salad — Ground peanuts were on the side instead of being mixed in Thai Spicy Papaya Salad(Som Tum)($ 7.95) — 2 Stars — Deducted one star for only giving me two shrimp — The spice is mixed into the dressing, so if you don’t toss/mix the salad while you’re eating it, you own’t feel the heat until you get to the bottom Brown Rice($ 2) — 3 Stars — Cooked well, but a little bland Thai Spicy Yellow Curry w/Chicken($ 8.95) — 2 ½ Stars — I don’t think I’ve ever had yellow Thai curry this bland… wouldn’t get it again — Not as spicy as I expected, but this was my first time here, so they were probably going easy on me. They turned up the heat the next few times — Came with fried onions on top — Straight out of the boiling pot to the table, so it took a pretty long time to cool down Clay Pot($ 10.95) — 1 ½ Stars — Deducted one star for only giving me two shrimp and three thin slices of Thai sausage(2 stars) Thai Spring Rolls($ 5.95) — 1 ½ Stars — They did a good job w/the presentation, but that’s about it — Didn’t taste«bad», but the wrapping was really thick, and except for the black pepper that they used too much of, these were pretty tasteless Misc. — Clean and new interior — Friendly service — They deliver($ 30 minimum order; 3 mile range) — Food comes out VERY hot, so if you don’t give it time to cool down, you’re gonna burn your tongue

Thai food is one of my favorite types of cuisine. Saw this place pop up on Unilocal while planning a dinner with a girlfriend and decided to stop by. The service was nice and the restaurant is clean and spacious. Parking lot is small but I didn’t have any trouble finding parking. I ordered the drunken noodle with chicken and my friend ordered the pad see ew. The noodles were overcooked and a little soggy and the sauce was too salty. The veggies were overcooked as well. I think lightening up on the soy sauce would make it better and reduce our potential high blood pressure too! Very average and nothing memorable. Likely would not return.

So far so super! I was immediately overtaken by the décor and entrance of the place and then I heard the sweetest voice welcome me! Customer service here is flawless. Our waitress seemed to be the only one on duty but she was on top of everything and always accommodating and concerned. Everything looked so clean and well maintained. The food came in due time and was presented so well. I had the Pad See Ew with chicken and my boyfriend went with an the BBQ chicken with rice la carte dish. We both loved it so much that we tried so hard to stop ourselves from engulfing it all so we could have left overs for work the next day. After that, we ordered the mango sticky rice desert(INSEASONYAY) and it was the bomb dot com. I want to try everything, seriously. I’ll be back again and again!

I’m rarely craving thai food but my parents wanted to check this place out so I tagged along. I’ve seen this place numerous times but never checked it out because, like I said, I rarely crave thai food. PARKING: There’s definitely enough parking in the plaza, we found parking right in front of the restaurant. SERVICE: Wonderful service ! I didn’t catch our servers name but he was very attentive, had conversations with us which is great because there’s been times where I’ve been at a restaurant and I felt like the server could care less about my table. FOOD: I ordered their lunch special: yellow curry w/chicken, rice and a small side of fried won tons. All lunch specials come w/your choice or rice(brown or white) and a side salad. The yellow curry was delicious, with a good amount of chunky potatoes and pieces of chicken. I think their lunch special is $ 7.95 or $ 8.95. Their lunch special is between a certain time, 12 – 3? Menu has many options that anyone can choose from. My mom started to feel sick(not from the food here, we think it was from something she ate for breakfast) and she started to feel lightheaded so we asked our server to quickly get us to go boxes, which he actually package the food to go for us which is nice. I felt really bad that we rushed to leave but I’m definitely coming back here for their yellow curry! And I’m definitely going to recommend this place to my friends&eco workers too since they get cravings for Thai food sometimes. NOTES: — place is clean and organized. — Tables are plentiful for a big group.
