Pleasant Oaks Park

My office is nearby and I enjoy doing a lap of the park when I need a break from work.
This is a recently renovated park (completed last fall) and it is very pretty and well maintained. It is also very much baseball-​centric with multiple baseball fields, batting cages, etc. There is also a large grass field that could be used for a variety of other activities, including soccer. Although I’m not sporty, I do like local parks and beautiful spaces for people of all ages to participate in physical fitness activities.
There are a a few picnic sites with 7 – 8 tables each and two are nicely covered with giant shade structures. There are also lots of water fountains, garbage/​recycling bins, and lots of individual picnic tables and benches. There are bathrooms and a snack shack on one side, but I think those may just be for use during baseball games. There is a small playground and they seem to have plans to upgrade.
