Royal China

I ordered the sesame chicken lunch with fried rice, soup, and an eggroll. I also went ahead and ordered a side of crab rangoons. I ordered it for delivery. An hour and 15 mins later I received my food. My food was pretty gross. The rice tasted, looked and smelled old. The chicken was okay. My eggroll looked moldy. The soup was tasteless. The only decent thing was my crab rangoons. I will not be ordering from here again.

Summary: Been there a lot. Great staff, great prices, great food, will stay a regular customer.

When I looked at some of the other reviews of R.C. (On Unilocal and Google), I couldn’t believe the negative stories people were posting. I have lived in Pleasant Hill for 10 years, and have been a frequent customer since it’s opening. The staff have always been wonderful to me, the food is excellent, the restaurant is clean and generally not terribly busy or crowded, and the prices are amazing! My girlfriend and I go here consistently once a month, and my bill for the both of us (including tip) for lunch is always under $ 20, and for dinner around $ 30. Additionally, we both usually have leftovers to take home.
I remember going to P.F. Changs by Jordan Creek a few weeks ago. As I was paying my $ 60 bill, I was thinking to myself «not as good as royal, and I’m still pretty hungry…». I went to royal that next week and again was not disappointed.
All of my friends at work couldn’t agree more, and we even keep a menu posted in the break room to plan when we all want to go and what to order. I’m going there today for lunch, and have been looking forward to today all week.

Currently waiting for our food. Online said one hour. As we sit here at the two hour and thirty minute mark, the restaurant is without a manager and refusing to refund us. We have literally paid for food we did not get and the restaurant is not returning our money nor answering the phone.
