Ladies and gentlemen… you get what you pay for. Rent was $ 925 and then went to $ 975, then to $ 1000. Mind that the apartment although a 1BD probably fits in my studio that I live in right now and I have a bigger closet space now. I lived here from August/September 2005 to February 2007 because it was close to my school. Pros: Close to food joints, movie theater, park, small town shops and more… If you clean the apartment well, they give you most of your deposit back. Cons: Bait & Switch — Lady that showed us the apartment assured us that the new management was going to treat us just as she treated us… (When there were issues with the garbage disposal, he said something along the lines of we possibly put too much rice in the disposal… I mean isn’t a garbage disposal supposed to work and not back up? Numerous occasions the upstairs neighbor would have their sink clogged up and it would cause havoc with ours down below. It was disgusting and we had to wait until it got fixed) Manager didn’t do anything about the noisy people upstairs and around the complex and also tried to cover up the mold problem in the closet by telling us he’s just going to paint over it.(A lot of my clothes were messed up because of this! There was a leak in the roof supposedly and that it was going down in the walls. — the carpet was wet all the time when it rained) Laundry room only had 3 washers and dryers, there were times when they were full of other people’s clothes(inconsiderate and forgetful neighbors) and we had to visit the local coin laundromat to get any laundry done. Very inconvenient. I would never have rented from this place if I had known I would have gotten so many problems.
