Ann is my girl! Typically, I am always able to get in last minute, but I would suggest making an appointment as this salon can get packed fast. I have been going to Ann faithfully for the better part of a year. She always gets my shape on point and I feel like I can give her any direction. My fills can go 3 weeks solid without fail, which is nice because I don’t always have time. She even makes color suggestions for me. By far the best nail technician I have ever had– and I don’t even mind commuting from Oakland to see her. Thanks, Ann!

I love this place! Very sanitary, comfy chairs, nice ladies. Got a super long massage and lots of variety in nail colors. I have been looking for a nail spot for a long time and this is the one!

I wish I could give a five-star review, but I was very offended by their customer service. I was happy with the gel manicure I received. When I went to pay with my credit card, the lady asked if I want to add a tip(usually the receipt has a place for a tip, you don’t ask verbally), when I said I would pay $ 2.50, she was silent and then said I’ll just charge you $ 20. She completed the transaction and then walked away, not even wishing me to have a good day. I found her response to be highly unprofessional and borderline rude. It’s my choice how much I choose to tip, and they should accept what I give. I had a gel done 10 days prior at another place that I will not return to because it chipped off so soon(and I shared this info with my manicurist). I can’t afford to give big tips every time a nail place fails to do a good job. I wanted to return to Trendy but after this rude customer service, I will not think of it and will discourage others from going. They need to earn the tips, not expect it.

The best nail spa I have ever been to around the bay! It’s a very spacious, clean, and nice place. The staff are very friendly and very professional. Best of all they can speak English and I was able to communicate with them without any problem

Nancy is AMAZING! She did such a great job on my pedicure made sure to spend plenty of time on me and even did a very long massage. She really makes sure to take care of you when you come in after a long day in heels! Also, all their nail polishes are color coordinated so if you know what color tone you’re looking for they are all in one place.

Been here a couple of times. ROSE is great. Some other girl filed my gel nails after clear coating them which is a no no. TODAY, online said they were open til 7:30, I came in at 6:45 to the owner shaking her head at me and told me to «hurry up» & pick a color. so I walked out. Rude. My money can go elsewhere.

I came to Trendy after seeing the offer for a $ 20 Shellac manicure, and it was a great decision. It was 12:30 on a Tuesday, and I was one of only a few customers. I was immediately welcomed by the receptionist, who confirmed the Unilocal offer(an extra $ 5 for a French manicure). The salon is very aesthetically pleasing, with a mix of Renaissance art and modern décor. I greatly enjoyed their soothing classical playlist, which was highlighted by The Piano Guys(side note: if you haven’t heard them, GOLISTEN. My review will still be here when you get back, and your life will be better). My manicurist Rose was friendly but not overly talkative. She was very precise and detailed, and ensured everything was to my liking. My French manicure was accompanied by a hand and arm massage, and hot towels. My nails were completely dry when she was finished, which is perfect if you’re constantly on-the-go like I am. I will definitely be returning to Trendy in the future!

Hi, I don’t write many reviews but I felt this one needed to be done! First of all I have the worst nails, they are thin and crooked not easy to make look good! I have tried many places and never ever left feeling satisfied, I always get gel French manicure and they always have bubbles or ridges that bug me so I pick at them! Other places NEVER file my nails right, they are always crooked!!! I HAVEFINALLYFOUNDMYNEWNAILLADY! Her name is AN at Trendy Nails! She is not only the best she has a great smile also!!! Thank you so much AN !!! I love my nails for the first time ever!!!

Walked in and was helped within 5 min. I had An and she was very sweet and so careful! Great color selection and one of the best gel manicures I have had. Great job cleaning, shaping and painting my nails. $ 20 special for first time customers as well!

Booked in appointment this morning for a fill, but ended up with a new set. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I am very picky when it comes to my nails, but I was able to show Ann a picture of what I wanted them to look like and was able to relax the rest of the time with very little to nothing to say. Ann did a FANTASTIC job with my nails and I am very happy with the results! Thanks Ann! You’re awesome!

1st time at this place and had a great time. I took my daughter who’s 7(this isn’t her 1st nail shop trip) this time was different for her tho, she loved that they had kids chairs. She finally felt like she got the full treatment her feet fit in the water without shoving a bunch of pillows behind her. The nail tech did everything on her that they did one me witch she loved because she felt like a big girl getting a big girl pedicure. The girl who did her nails was so sweet to her(my daughter talks a lot and has a lot of questions) I had two girls working on me at once witch I normally hate but the way they have it set up I was totally cool with it! They put a plastic bag in the pedicure tubs so it gives that extra step of clean and no cross contamination(I dig it) since it was my 1st time I got my gel manicure for $ 20! They have big verity of both gel and regular nail polish to pick from. All in all it was a great start to our girls day.

I came here twice and both times I was given a horrid uneven clumpy paint job. They also cut my cuticles so much they gave me painful hangnails shortly after. Don’t come here. There are nail shops on every corner; pick another one.

This place is the fanciest and cleanest I’ve been to. Anne is so kind and offered me water and tea when I sat down to do mani/pedi(only 35 for both) 4 stars because layers of base coat/polish/topcoat were rushed and were applied immediately one after the other. Will return — beautiful salon *changed to five stars because my nails haven’t chipped and it’s been almost five days which is a record for mr

Forget to finish this review, was here around the end of July 2015. Nice ambiance, but rude person working on my pedi. No smile, no greeting. Just ushered into the chair. Proceeded to pedi… painful since she cut my cuticle on my big toe on both feet. Then filed all the way to where it was on my skin. I kept pulling back and grimacing and she would just pull towards her and keep going. At that rate, I thought she was going to burn a hole through my nail and file off my skin. I should have taken pics to post, but was so unhappy/uncomfortable and in a bit of pain, just wanted out of there. Polish quality was bad and pedi normally on me can go for a 1 month… started chipping in a week. I did not tip her well. I’ll give the benefit of doubt to most establishments(have fun chairs for lil girls wanting a pedi with their guardian), but the experience is enough for me to not return. Inexpensive yes, but not even getting what you paid for. If you want a really awesome place, with fantastic folks to take the time and care to do it right… go a little ways down the street on Contra Costa Blvd to Pampered Nails, you won’t regret it!

Horrible customer service! I will NOT be returning! I called to make a 4pm shellac nail apportionment — I arrived 5 min before my appointment. I told them I had a 4pm appt, the owner told me I had to wait 15 min. I waited longer than that. As soon as I sat down, the owner who was going to start on my nails kept getting up to ring customers up, kept on taking calls, and was finishing up another persons nails. In between this, she was also rushing, which gave me anxiety instead of that relaxed feeling people want to get at a spa. My whole experience was just a headache and I could not wait to get out of there. The owner was unprofessional and had terrible customer service.

My sister and I went here together. It was nice on the inside so it looked pretty promising. We get pedicures(with the $ 5 extra callus remover) and manicures. We both had women that didn’t really talk to us but that wasn’t a big deal. As far as quality goes it was ok. I kind of feel like I wasted my money though because it was no better than what I do at home. Manicures that I’ve gotten at other places usually last at least a whole week without chipping but this one didn’t even make it an entire day before it started chipping on both hands. If you have a pumice stone at home and are steady with the polish, you should save your money. Unless you really just want to treat yourself to someone else doing it for you. But I honestly wish I saved the $ 80 and did everything myself.
