Time to cross them off my list. When Ambrosia opened I was thrilled to have a fresh juice option in Kenosha. I often juice myself, but it is always nice to «go out to eat» :) On my first few visits I realized that I am not crazy about their recipes, because I don’t like ginger or apple in my juice. All their juices that I’m not allergic to seem to have one or the other — or both. They worked with me to adjust to my preferences, but often charged a lot for the change and had a general displeased attitude about it. As a result, I never became the regular customer I expected to be and have not visited for a long time. Today, I really wanted a juice and don’t have the ingredients In the house so I stopped for a juice on my way home. I found that the juice company no longer makes fresh juice to order. What!!! You’re a juice company! After my shock wore off, it was explained that they now use a cold press, large batch process each night and juice is available in plastic bottles in the cooler. Smoothies are made to order though. So, I scanned the cooler and after weeding out all the concoctions with my allergens, I settled on Autumn Harvest. It is a juice of yam, carrot, pear, cinnamon and, you guessed it, apple AND ginger. The price was fine at just over $ 5. The iPad payment system offers a tip option, which is ridiculous considering it was self serve, but it also sent an emailed receipt. The juice tastes ok; it would be much better without the apple and ginger in my opinion. Pulling from the cooler, I have no idea how old the juice is — there is no juiced date listed. The plastic bottle isn’t my favorite either. I did let the staff know that I was disappointed in the changes. I was told that this method retains nutrients better. I explained that I still prefer a fresh made juice and the ability to make alterations based on allergies and preferences. The short of it is — If you like ginger and apple in your refrigerated, plastic bottled, cold pressed juice, then Ambrosia is the place for you. For me, I’ll stop at the store instead next time.

This is a local business done right! If you are a health nut, you’ll love this place. There are many options for many different types of diets. I am not a health nut, but they offer«good for you» food options when I’m in a mood to eat the way I should. I know several people who swear my the juice cleanses offered. The smoothies are over the top fantastic!

I’m actually from downtown Chicago and coach figure skating in pleasant prairie, so I don’t know much that is around here. This place was a nice surprise. The inside is a little bare but it gives that«organic feel». I ordered a fitness smoothie called the«RECOVER» and it was SOGOOD!!! I also ordered a mozzarella, tomato and pesto panini and it was very yummy! Staff was nice as well. I’ll definitely be back !

This place is a gem. I’ve done two of the Juice Feasts(week long, all juice cleanses), picking up fresh bottled juice from Ambrosia and it was like a new lease on life. Delicious and healthy.

So good! A Kenosha-area gem. My fiancé and I always order the Gladiator, a peanut-buttery smoothie. All of their smoothies are well-blended and pack lots of flavor. The ingredients are fresh and service is prompt. The only drawbacks would be location and the seating area; the space isn’t very big, so plan on coming only if you’re taking your drink somewhere else. Overall, a great experience!

This a nice place to stop in for drinks– coffee and smoothies. Good options, both hot and cold. There’s a fridge with lots of bottled juices. Those are a bit pricey, but the coffee was pretty cheap. Good flavors to choose from. There’s not much to the atmosphere, would like to see more comfortable furniture for lounging. This is located near the Cousins subs in front of the JC Penney.

The owner is a B&$!H!!! She thinks she can talk any which way she wants. She won’t last with her attitude!!! She must be a Jewish princess! KMA!!! It won’t be open very long.

Love the selection of juices and the staff is always pleasant! Totally worth spending the same amount on a juice versus a coffee from Starbucks!

I work close by and stopped in for a smoothie one day. The customer service was amazing and the owner is so nice and helpful. She was more than happy to accommodate a substitution in my smoothie, which is great. Always nice to support local businesses.

I wish this place had been open when I was spending time in Kenosha because I would have frequented it often! The menu is fairly extensive for such a small place, but they put in the time and love to make each drink delicious. On my first visit I got coffee(intelligentsia for the coffee lovers), but on the second time I had to try one of the fruit juices that was awesome! Any time I am in the area now I make sure I stop by and try a new drink. The place is small, but it’s nice to get in and out for a quick drink or for a date with some girlfriends!

As far as healthy living goes, Ambrosia was the BEST thing to happen to Kenosha! They have the BEST smoothies I’ve ever had, and when it comes to fresh pressed juice, the owner KC has really come up with the most delicious combinations. Ya know the smoothes where they use the pre-mixed«fruit» syrupy stuff they pour in with ice or yogurt or whatever? You will NOT find that at Ambrosia, which is why they’re at the top of my list. It’s ALL fruit baby, and for the right price. AND with lots of supplements to add in to customize for your needs/wants(whey, chia, protein, hemp, flax, etc) They started a 1−3−5 day juice cleanse too, that I’m really looking forward to trying too! Go! Especially on a hot day when you need a little refresher. you’ll thank me later :)

Ambrosia is awesome. I’ve tried almost every drink they have, they have so many options. I love that their drinks are no sugar added and taste amazing. They have wheatgrass, hot paninis, home made soup. Super impressive! Love Ambrosia

We were reading the«Happenings» magazine and I came across an add for Ambrosia Juice Co. And I thought to myself that we should try it… little did I know that 4 hours later we would find our self looking at a menu and then ordering lunch. They are located in front of Target off of Hwy 50… so it is an easy location to find. My wife ran in to grab a menu(for the future) and came back to the car with a sample of vegetarian chili. I took one taste and told my wife it was really good… she then said you want to grab lunch. We went in and met KC the owner… she was working all by herself but she was working so hard to get everything out to the customers. I love seeing an owner who cares about there business being successful… it only comes with a lot of hard work. So I could really appreciate the effort by KC. We ordered a grilled cheese panini and an Italian panini… both were perfectly toasted and hot. The grilled cheese has three different cheeses on it… my little one really loved it. I think this is her first panini and she even ate the crust. The Italian Panini had some nice spice to it from the kalamata olives that came on it. We were also able to get 75 cents off our sandwich by adding on a fruit smoothie. We had the Strawberry Banana and everything was really fresh. We were sitting there and decided that we needed just a little something more and we ordered a bowl of the vegetarian chili. It was really good too… I noticed that there was tofu in here and I am not a tofu fan but KC chopped it up so fine I could hardly notice or taste it. There was also a nice spice too… perfect for a winter day.

Went there opening day. Me and 2 friends tried it. I ordered the Carrot+Apple+Ginger juice. Was so tart. I love veggie juices but not this one. Ginger tasting all the way. They told me this was a ‘gateway’ veggie juice for first timers so I figured it would be good. My 2 friends ordered smoothies. They threw them out because the fruit seemed to be unripe, therefore it was very sour tasting. As far as pricing, its only one size and range about $ 4-something a cup.
