I was here a few weeks ago and let me start off by saying I only came here for the Bobbi Brown products. The employees were terrible. Not friendly at all and almost like they’re doing you a favor for walking in the store. It was awful. I haven’t had such poor customer service when it came to makeup until now.

i was in the Pleasant Prairie store, and the service there is absolutely horrible ! This company should reconsider the staff they have representing them. May ling is a real treat and should seek a new employment in a place she enjoys; because she clearly is not happy, and takes it out on her guests. As for me i will go to Macy’s and pay a little extra, for better service.

Love this store but HATE the customer service. I used to go in here all the time and blow at least $ 100 bucks. Now I dread going because the people are so unfriendly and miserable. The manager barely speaks English and is rudely loud condescendingly nice. Time for new staff!!!

Worst customer service ever! I went in the store looking for an eyeliner brush. I asked the clerk for assistance. She said the brushes are behind the glass. I said could you show me what you have in eyeliner brushes. She said how should I know. I don’t wear eyeliner. Her co worker stood only a foot away and had nothing to say. I commented back by saying well that was helpful and walked out of the store. Totally rude. I will not go back there.

BADCOSTUMERSERVICE, by «manager, Kim». I was a first time custumer that purchased several items last week including, a primer of $ 30 which ended up being old and expired. Went in to exchange for same product and was not able to because I did not have receipt. Although it’s still in original box and with their company tag. I will never go back to this place, and tell everyone not to go because they SELLOLD&EXPIRED products and will not exchange it.

I love, love, LOVE cosmetics. And MAC is one of my favorite brands. As the previous review stated, this is an outlet store for all Estee Lauder branded and licensed cosmetics. Everything from MAC, down to a couple of Coach perfume items, and I’ve even seen some Bumble and Bumble hair product in their recently. As I cosmetic junkie, I feel a rush every time I walk through the door. When I first started frequenting this location about a year and a half ago, the customer service was not half bad. Lately it has been inexcusable. In the recent months I have gotten barely a hello as I walked through the doors, and this last time a few weeks ago — the associate didn’t even do me the favor of coming out of the back room. She seemed to be having a discussion with a male friend or spouse about something — and he even told her she needed to get up and help the customer. She did not. From my conversations with other CCO/CCS employees in other locations, the stores have some control of the amount of what brands they carry. Not sure how true this is, but this location carries quite a bit of MAC — which is what I come here for. I have noticed that very little of their stock has turned over in the time I have been coming here. The store itself is fantastic, as you can save about 30% on brands such as Estee Lauder, MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Prescriptives, and Estee Lauder branded and licensed fragrance items — LE, discontinued, and some permanent shades. I do like this location because it is the most convenient for me, but the service lately has definitely turned me off. The Aurora location is much larger in square footage, but the associates working in the store are also much friendlier and willing to assist you and answer questions.

The Cosmetics Company Store is the outlet for all brands under the Estee Lauder Company. This includes Bobbi Brown, MAC Cosmetics, Clinique, Stila, Origins, Prescriptives, Estee Lauder, and American Beauty, among others; those are just the brands I’ve actually seen in the store. They sell items from these lines at a discount of up to 30% off retail. Since they’re a TRUE outlet store, their stock will vary from shipment to shipment. If you call and inquire about a specific item(for instance, Bamboo eyeshadow by MAC), they can tell you if they have it in stock, but cannot give prices over the phone. As an example of savings, I saved $ 4 on an eyeshadow; $ 6 each on a couple of brushes; $ 6 on pigments… I’ve only purchased MAC items from there. The items they carry may be from a limited edition collection, or may be an item from the permanent collection that was a little older(I’ve found shadows there with a date code from just last year; the shadows are fine). It was a pleasant surprise to me to find brushes here; they also have makeup bags and train cases from time to time. The sales clerks at this store were really friendly; I was in there about and hour and spent half of that time as the only customer in the store. They brought out some product not on the shelf, and also chit-chatted with me about stuff while looking through the makeup with me. I’ve been to two other Cosmetics Company stores, and while this was the second smallest, it had a HUGE amout of MAC product. There were at least 10 blushes, 13 eyeshadows, 3 quads, 13 paints… plus lipsticks, lipglasses, foundations, powders, and the list goes on. I’d suggest this as a great CCO to stop at if you’re in the area of Pleasant Prairie! The outlet mall is right off the freeway, so it’s not even much of a detour. Happy shopping!
