I went to see Dr. Burgar for a serious issue in my hand. I had already seen 2 other male Doctors who didn’t even touch my hand and made their diagnosis. They both proceeded to charge me over $ 500 for an office visit. For what? is my question I’m still waiting to get an answer on.
Dr. Burgar took her time with me and put me through various testing to see what the problem is and not to miss possibly another issue. I had x-​rays to ensure no arthritis was involved.
After her careful examination she came up with the issue. Not just in 1 finger but in 3 others and had me feel exactly what it is and proceeded to tell me the only alternative for me is surgery. I did consult with another surgeon who agreed with the diagnosis and the procedure recommended to me by Dr. Burgar.
She was kind, informed, answered all my questions and concerns. I was not rushed or ever treated rudely at any time then or now by her or her staff.

Same thing happening to me no MRI and no x-​rays my arms are still swollen to this day.

I would not recommend her to anyone! Never once did she order an MRI! Great at ordering up xrays that don’t show crap. Something that should have only taken 6 months has taken over 2 years. She tells you you’re fine there’s nothing wrong it just takes time to heal. A year later & it still needs to heal! In the meantime my elbow was swollen up and I have been in constant pain. Finally had an MRI showing she screwed up on my surgery and I’m paying for the consequences now. She told me I AM NO LONGER HER PATIENT and there is nothing wrong with me! REALLY!
In the meantime I’ve had to move on to another doctor who is very competent in his work and did the surgery to fix what she did WRONG! I am no longer in pain in my elbow is not swollen anymore. DO NOT TRUST HER FOR ANYTHING!!! She should not be a doctor at all!
