One of my white jackets had a stain that could not be removed at other dry cleaning location even after multiple tries. Since I like this jacket so much and couldn’t throw it away, I decided to give it another try and dropped the jacket off to this place. And I am glad I did, the lady at the counter was very friendly and professional. She did an excellent job, my jacket was as new, stain completely gone. I never considered D&D Cleaners before because of their prices, but it became my regular spot to get dry cleaning done successfully. Good for alteration too!

I have been going to D&D cleaners for years but within the last month the quality of their work has become worse and worse. It started off when I brought in a very expensive Pottery Barn blanket that I spilled juice on. When I picked up the blanket I could still smell and feel the juice. I asked that they please re-clean the blanket which they did. When I picked it up for the second time my beautifully soft expensive blanket was a matted mess! I talked to the owners and they said it was just what happens after the first wash. I stayed dedicated to them thinking this is the only mistake in years. Well that was a poor decision on my part because since the blanket they ruined a pair of Banana Republic slacks by leaving it under heat for too long(it has awkward lines all over the slacks). In that same drop off I had them clean the silk white robe I wore on my wedding day. They lost the tie to close the robe and ripped a whole in the arm. The owner told me she found a snag and fixed it. Not thinking anything of it I take the robe out of the bag and the«snag» was a three inch gash in the arm. Pretty sure I would have noticed a whole that large in my arm on my wedding day. When I called to complain the owner told me I lost the tie and the rip was already there. I asked to be compensated for my damaged items and she told me it wasn’t her problem. That I am the only person to ever have an issue in 10 years. At this point I have a $ 250 blanket, $ 80 slacks and a priceless item I wore on my wedding day destroyed. You couldn’t pay me to take another item to this dry cleaner.

Great customer service. I’m always greeted with a hello and a friendly chat, they even remember name! When I have my baby I get help to my car with the bigger pick ups without asking. Everything is done on time. Feels like a neighborhood business should!

Per the recommendation of my cousin, I got my wedding dressed cleaned and boxed here post-nuptials…it was welcoming to have her recommend someone locally, so it was definitely a relief knowing she’d gotten hers done here and was very, very happy with the results. So beginning of August I went in on a Friday and dropped it off with the lady, who printed my tag and told me 2 weeks it would be ready(also indicated on my receipt). She was very friendly and quoted me a very reasonable and agreeable rate for the service. Sounds good, see you later! I showed up 2 ½ weeks later(more than the time indicated on my receipt) and was greeted by the same lady… she tells me my dress hasn’t been cleaned yet, and that the lady who’s to clean it has been lazy. HUH?! While I «appreciate» your honesty that it hasn’t been cleaned bc of someone’s laziness, I don’t really need to hear that since it’s my wedding dress you’re cleaning. Not to mention you’ve had ample time to deliver a clean dress… not that i’m in any hurry to have it back, but i’m standing on principle here! She apologized several times and promised it would be ready in a week’s time. She would even call when it was officially ready… which she did about a week later. So I finally went into pick it up and my dressed looked beautiful and clean in it’s pretty box. I wanna wear it again it looked so great! Very very happy in the end… a little frustrating in the process, but it all worked out and i got it cleaned for a great price. I mentioned this story to my cousin and she was surprised they quoted me 2 weeks bc she felt hers took almost a month, so who knows. Overall, happy camper.

I am coming here to have ham my jeans. Service is fast and quality is excellent. Price is what other are charging but because they are working late Saturday and within close walking distance from me, I am their customer.

Just a comment to say about Rebekah Peter has given a very useful review as well as others. I’m happy your experience was a better one but I use Unilocal To guide me towards making a wise choice not be be swayed by you discrediting a valid complaint.

We used D & D for over a year, but I suddenly had 5 – 6 shirts ruined with what looked like oil spray. Some of the shirts were new and had only been worn once or twice. When I pointed it out, the owner offered refused to take responsibility and suggested that it was my eating habits or coffee. The irony is that some of the stains were inside the shirt, or even shoulder area. Its kind of hard to spray coffee on your shoulder! After this, we reviewed every shirt before giving it to him, but the damage was done and there is no accountability from this business. The owner has no customer service commitment to doing what is right and he is really unfriendly on top of it. Shouldn’t a business have insurance for this type of thing in the event a washing machine leaks oil and ruins clothing? My advice is to leave this cleaner and look elsewhere — if you have not seen this problem yet, you probably will, and it cost me over $ 300 in new shirts. Save yourself some frustration.

Exactly what you would expect from your home town dry cleaners, once they know your name, you are greeted as such, terrific quality and customer service. Alterations are available for what I consider to be the basics, anything more than a hem or slight in/out stitching issue I would use a true alterations service. But for being right down the street offering long time great customer service, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Reliable, friendly, timely, and excellent work. They do dry cleaning and laundry. Not sure what that negative review was about but I can’t believe it’s about D&D. If you’re still not sure, just do one piece of clothing as a trial. You won’t be sorry!

I am not a frequent Unilocaler however I feel the need to post a comment after reading the negative comment that was posted about them. I have lived in this area for 3 years now and have gone to D&D cleaners since day one. The owners are extremely helpful and always courteous and professional. They consistently do an impeccable job cleaning and even tailoring our clothing and have never once ruined anything. On the contrary, they have saved many of my expensive pieces and removed horrible stains which I thought might have been permanent. They are always accommodating and willing to put a rush on our cleaning when we have trips and events coming up and do so without question. They are always interested in knowing what we have going on in our lives and remember us and welcome us with huge hellos when we come in and are a true pleasure to be around. I don’t know what happened with the person who commented before this but I do want to go on record saying I have had the opposite experience at D&D and I highly recommend them.
