FED Shutters

My husband and I met with Del this past weekend, and it was clear from the start that he is a true artisan of the shutter business. He uses only the best hardwoods and the best design techniques to create his shutters. He is very knowledgeable about current trends and best practices in the window covering world. His prices are very reasonable given the quality product he produces, and he’s a very pleasant person to work with. I highly recommend working with him to anyone looking for a beautiful addition to your home!

I guess I’m the first one to write a review here for FED shutters, so what an honor, lol.
FED is a fairly new business, but don’t let that scare you. The owner and main person you deal with (Del) is very experienced in the the interior shutter business, with over 10 years working for one of the largest shutter companies in the bay area in every role possible. His expertise compared to others we talked was evident, and what a great, friendly, atttentive style. Though he just started this business, I don’t think there is more of an expert out there.
So if you are concerned about FED being new, rest your mind. Plus he has an UNBELIEVABLE Grand Opening sale going on.
In a nutshell, I believe I got the most premium quality shutters that are available anywhere out there, at absolutely the best price out there. And we seemingly looked at them all. All delivered and expertly installed in a very short leadtime relative to what other companies quoted me. I know as we talked to several (all?) of the other leading companies in the market. In hindsight, it was certainly educational, but what an exhausting and confusing journey. Wish we had spoke with FED first.
FED used a personal, hands on approach. Del shared he strives to be high quality, low volume, with exceptional attention to detail and customer satisfaction. That’s what we got, starting on my first call, as Del spent a good deal of time on the phone with me discussing our needs, budget, ettc., prior to coming out, and that was really unique to what we experienced with the other companies we spoke to.
This unique personal approach was used throughout the entire process, and continued to even after our shutters were installed, as we received a call and letter (with a nice little gift) after installation to see if we were 100% happy, and if there was anything else FED could do for us. C’mon, who does that these days?
And WHAT A DIFFERENCE the shutters have made upgrading and upscaling our home, and controlling light, temperature and ambiance. Everything Del told us they would do. Incredible. They aren’t cheap, but man do they separate themselves from every window covering. You will never regret it.
