My wife had a flat tire (15 psi), we rolled into this station and it was $ 1 for air. Normally no big deal, but we had no quarters and no cash. I walked into the «store» to see if they could turn the air on for me, as CA requires free water and air. They refused to, saying that I had to be a customer to get free Air and water. When I mentioned I live around the corner and I buy gas there frequently they said show me a receipt… Like i am trying to scam them out of $ 1 worth of Air.
This is not how you treat even potential future customers. We ended up at Chevron on Bernal and the air and water was free period! Didn’t even have to ask to have the air turned on. In the Two weeks since I have needed Gas in the morning and went to Chevron both times, because they know how to treat customers (current and future).

First, the touch pad is completely worn out and doesn’t register the credit card selection vs. debit so I stood there for way too long waiting for the damn thing to default to continuing the transaction.
Second despite a partial fill-​up (4 gallons) because the price is so much higher than elsewhere, it spilled diesel fuel all down the side of my car AFTER tapping the nozzle to remove excess fuel.
Finally the edge of the roof, despite no rain, dripped water all over the back of my car. Oh, and going inside for a receipt? No thank you.
Never going there again until it’s completely updated.

I’m always stopping here to get gas when I’m in Pleasanton. Its just the most convenient it seems.
A family must run it and I feel bad for the girl that has to work the night shift. Shes very nice and polite.
The dude who works in the store during the day is really annoying and I see him annoying the guys in the smog test shop all of the time. I have heard him say out loud «This sucks, I’m so bored». Its a job you ass!!! Probably a job your family has provided for you. I hate blatant shows of ungratefulness.
I’ve never used the garage, or smog station. They are hired out mechanics in there. and seem annoyed with the day guy too.
Its my lottery ticket, gas station pit stop.
