Kshama Kheny, DDS

I have been a patient for almost 4 years. Doctor Kheny and her staff have been excellent in explaining the process from my first appointment and are very good at their work. All services have been done in timely and in professional manner. I would recommend her to my friends and family with no hesitation.

First off, no one really likes going to the dentist. However, Dr Kheny and her staff make for a comfortable experience!

Our family have been with Dr Kheny for 3 years now and we always receive a lovely welcome and more importantly, a very professional service. The office has easy parking and is clean and comfortable. Dr Kheny is very gentle, extremely skilled and knowledgeable and makes me feel at ease. We wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else because this dentist is simply as good as it gets.

Where do I begin? This team is remarkable! Dr. Kheny and Leticia are thorough, gentle, and clearly have a passion for the work they do. Our 6 year old needed cavities filled and they took extra time with her to calm her fears. They continued to explain what they were doing (in wonderful kid speak), talked to her through the entire process and encouraged her every step of the way. This team goes over and above what would be expected in a typical office. We were given options for treatment as well as print outs of all the work needed and all the work done. They even called us when they were running a bit behind so we wouldn’t have to wait… who does that anymore? We are so grateful to them for making this first experience for our little girl a positive one. She’s asking when she can go back! I know we’ll be back and if you’re looking for a great team, look no further.

At the age of 51 I was very afraid to get braces or Invisalign but I knew it was needed. Dr. Kheny’s professionalism on educating me with the process I selected Invisalign and 18 months later the process is almost completed. I am very satisfied with the monthly gentle treatment and services her office have provided.

I think Dr Kheny drilled on my teeth too much, I had tooth sensitivity for a long long time. I never had tooth sensitivity like this before, where it last a long time. In addition, one of my fillings came out days after the job was done, which is a sign of a rushed job. There are better places out there and I wish I read the reviews before.

What a nice and pleasent staff and doctor. Came as an emergency patient, Dr Kheny really took care of my problem right away and she did not try to sell me any unnecessary dentistry. Great Dentist to have. Very thorough and professional. Dr Kheny gave me a detailed treatment plan that included information about my copay. So I was informed about the out of pocket expenses before my treatment began. Her assistant Leticia is friendly and follows up on appointments in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr.Kheny.

Dr. Kheny and her staff have provided me with excellent service and an overall great dental experience. Dr. Kheny is through in her work, friendly and always makes me feel comfortable and confident in the work being done. She was able to quickly identify my dental issues and has done a great job providing and suggesting corrective measures. You know the old line… If I could give NO stars I would.
Quick update: Just got off the phone with Kshama who has this problem with talking over the top of everyone and implying she’s superior due to her education and she’s refusing to give me the name of malpractice insurance company so it’s quite clear she doesn’t have any. It’s like a cartoon or something.
I’ve been to this office probably 15 times. Bottom line. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. My daughter wanted spacing corrected with her teeth so Kshama introduced us to the Invisalign product with a $ 6K fee that would cover the costs, retainers and also whitening and a few cavities. Let me first say that’s twice the going rate for what we got so if you are looking to go this route, don’t make the mistake I did and do shop around. My daughter’s teeth were not crooked, but they weren’t spaced as she wanted so her father and I agreed to the invisalign with Kshama. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. My oldest didn’t need ortho and was just blessed with perfect teeth so I didn’t realize when it took her three or four different visits to create just ONE SINGLE ACCEPTABLE IMPRESSION Invisalign could work with that she was totally incompetent and had no idea what she was doing. They were so aggressive with my daughter on two of the extra impression visits that my daughter left with her mouth bleeding. One set of impressions she actually had her assistant try to do. I’m not even kidding, and yes, I feel stupid. Then as we started on the «trays» every few she started to mention how she needed to file down my teenage daughter’s teeth. I became quite upset saying I never agreed to this, but just know, whatever she doesn’t tell you and you tell her she didn’t tell you, she’ll just say she did and you don’t remember. So file away she did and now my teenage daughters enamel is less than it should be. When it became obvious near the end of the sequence of trays that the spacing was no going to be as she promised, she proposed putting a veneer on one of my daughter’s teeth to make it larger to fix the spacing problem. Ummmmm, yeah, I’m pretty sure veneers are for people near my age and not a teenager even though this is what she recommended WITH AN ADDITIONAL $ 1,000 FEE to fix her screw up. This was just another one of those things I said no way to and said we had never discussed and of course she just said she did talk to me about it and again I didn’t remember. The net of it is that we are on the last tray and my daughter’s teeth are not as she promised they would be and in fact are worse off because she filed them down not knowing what she was doing. And yes, I am absolutely going after her and Align Technology out of San Jose (the company that makes Invisalign) for what they’ve done to her teeth and for Align not properly managing or training or certifying those dentists they allow to sell their products. With the disaster I’m dealing with, I’m quite sure there have no requirements other than being a licensed dentist.
She also has serious billing issues and seems to apply payments to the wrong accounts. Then her office staff of now one person who is also a dental assistant or something, front desk and telemarketer will tell you one thing and then call you a liar when of course you don’t remember what they said and only they do. She admitted her previous front office person «Priscilla» did a horrible job with her front office operations and that she was having to fix many things. Hmmmmm. Is this supposed to make me feel more confident? Seems to me that the practice has almost no business and is hard up for cash. The billing issues that they now claim started at the same time I started to hear her dental assistant/​receptionist/​telemarketer and God knows what else making outbound telemarketing calls to try to convince people to come in for cleanings. Reeks of a bit of desperation.
Yes, I am filing the appropriate complaints with the oversight agency and have gone directly to the CEO of Align Technology since they are just as responsible as she is for the damage to my daughter’s teeth since they approved the treatment plan and even allowed her to offer the produce when she clearly doesn’t know what she’s doing. We will be taking my daughter elsewhere and to someone competent to try to make the best out of the mess Kshama created and I will be suing for damages on my daughter’s behalf so the money can be set aside if she needs additional dental work in the future as a result of Kshama’s constant filing away of the enamel of my her teeth.
Finally, shame on me for not doing my homework. My ex-​husband chose her to do a simple cleaning and I didn’t do my homework after to see what this ‘practice” is all about. We never would have stepped foot in this «operation» had we known. Just learn from my mistakes.

Dr. kshama is a sweet n personable person… This year due to various dental issues I had to visit her 4 times… All 4 times she’s been very helpful and took time to explain me the problem I had and went through all the options I had… Btw they take care of the insurance… In most cases if you are covered with your policy, u don’t have to pay anything…

She tried to tell me that I had a whole bunch of cavities. I went to another dentist who checked my teeth and told me that there were only a couple that needed to be filled. Be warned to get a second opinion before you make any costly decisions at this office.

We’ve been more than happy with Dr. Kheny! I can’t say enough nice things about her and her office staff. My son had to have some special things taken care of and she was just amazing with him. We are also sold on her prices too! After much searching, we are thankful to find a wonderful place!

I recently visited Dr. Kheny’s office for ‘Zoom’Teeth Whitening proceedure. From the time I called for the appointment and thru out the proceedure, I was impressed about the level of personal attention and profesionalism recieved by Dr. Kheny and her staff. I was proptly tended to, always kept informed and extremely satisfied with the results. The office was easy to find near Pleasanton’s downtown area as well as clean and state of the art. I would highly recommend Dr. Kheny.

Very professional yet friendly service from Dr. Kheny and her asst Natalia. Dr. Kheny has been very helpful when I was looking into beginning my ortho treatment and going above and beyond. Her office has been very accomodating to my work schedule and if something came up and needed something fixed, Dr. Kheny has made sure to get me in ASAP. Sold on her prices but turns out, I’m sold on her great service which makes any dental/​Orthodontic experience that much better. I would definitely refer friends and family to her office.
