Reddell’s Shi Ki Dojo

Our 2 sons have been going to this Dojo for over 8 years now!
Extremely happy about our decision to enroll them into Karate, in general, and Sensei Dan in particular. In fact, Dan’s skillfulness, patience, style and personality has been the primary reason for the boys to «stay» with the program!
The positive effects of this program on our sons have been significant and obvious, so we are very satisfied and strongly recommend it to all parents with kids of all ages!
The Dojo is very spacious, beautiful, and always clean. The location is also perfect with easy access, free parking, etc, … and lots of shops and restaurants in the beautiful Downtown Pleasanton.

Our son Seth has been attending Sensei’s classes for close to 15 months, and last week, he earned his purple belt.
We weren’t sure what to expect when we signed him up for his first class… But through karate and Sensei’s teachings, we have seen Seth mature — he is more focused, more controlled, and it’s been really great as parent’s to see the dedication Seth has to attending karate every week.
The atmosphere in the class is supportive and fun, but also demanding. Sensei has a keen assessment of each person’s ability.
When the classes moved to the hall, it really made a huge difference. The space is very large, and with the wooden floors, you get the feel of a dojo! Who knew the veteran’s hall could turn dojo twice a week.
